Are you sure you don’t just really want to think that we believe in god deep down so imagine we do? It kind of sounds like that and that would be a little delusional. It’s my area of interest if you really want to know (which I suspect you don’t).

Yes, atheist quote more scripture and know more about the bible than some Christians. In addition, they know more about what's sin and what's not a sin. I agree. I wonder why? When someone comes to me about other God's, I usually don't give it a second thought because I know it's bunch of lies. But athiest go through great lengths and details to prove something they came does not exist anyway. If someone came to me with a story about the tooth fairy. I'm not going to investigate it too much because I know that's someones imagination and that's the end of it. And I will not argue or loose sleep over something I do not believe does not exist.

Because, genius, "God" is still the subject of atheism - it's just that atheists have reached a different conclusion. What should an "atheist" as such talk about, if not God?

the problem with the word god is that the devil, the evil one, the one opposed to god uses it...Nature didn't necessarily see himself as god... Nature is the only qualifier for that kind of power... but humans took advantage of him a long time ago via the spirit... Julius Ceasar god of the roman catholic empire...is the one we've been taught to see as god..... so those called atheists are better for god of nature and he wants to be heard over the religious rhetoric.... ceasar plays dirty... been out there for so long he's used prophecy everyone nature has reached he has killed ...... Van Gaugh was a sensitive... sensitive to spirit means sensitive to nature... Socrates also a sensitive... how sensitives were meant to function telling the people of their village the problems nature faces or the solutions nature offers...being the voice of nature.... if we look at what happened to these people through history... being murdered, locked in insane asylums... ceasar drives us insane or to rage.... drugged against our will, lobotomies, Electra shock... they call it therapy but it was meant to punish.. so ceasar has been influencing the world using prophecies and making people damage the sensitives... he also uses prophecies to keep sensitives apart from supporting each other and comparing notes by reaching into their souls.... he also causes people to fear them therefor never listening to what they have to say.

I talk about God in this forum because that's what people ask about...ex. this question.
However in my everyday life unless someone else brings it up I don't talk about God....being an atheist it's not a part of my life and so it never comes up.

Because it's difficult to debate religion without mentioning some kind of deity. Christians talk about evolution a fair bit too...

Creationists have no understanding of science, but that doesn't stop them from claiming to have a monopoly on its meaning. Do you tell your creationist friends to stay away from science since have don't believe in it and have no understanding of it?

We talk about it because we either want to enlighten others, want to promote intellectual honesty, or are just plain scared of religious people acting on their beliefs.

Because they are very faithful people.
It takes a more faith to believe God doesn't exist rather than believing that he does exist.
