If yes about how much, I am losing weight and I have gone down about a half size to a whole size in shoes. I hate buying shoes so I do not want to keep buying shoes if my feet will get any smaller. I am trying to determine if I should wait until I am at my goal or is a one to a half size about the average loss from people who have lost weight.

It is very common for shoe size to do down after losing weight, but only if you lose a significant amount (10 pounds probably isn't going to do it).

I don't think your feet will shrink more than one or one and half sizes (when I lost about 25 pounds a few years ago, my feet went from an 11 to a 9.5), but that largely depends on how much weight you're trying to lose, too. Don't forget - your feet are largely bones, cartilage, and tendons. So unless your feet are massively swollen from water rentention and fatty deposits (in which case you'd have to be obese), I think you can relax and buy a few more pairs of shoes, knowing they will fit six months from now.

Congrats on the weight loss!

Yep. I was an 8 1/2 20 pounds ago, and now I'm an 8. You do have fat in your feet, and if you are burning fat all over, this includes a bit in your feet. You won't see too much of a difference, since shoe size is pretty much determined by the size of the bones in the feet, but shoes feeling loose is a definate posibility. Look out, though... your feet will probably swell near the end of a long run, so don't go out and buy all new shoes just yet. Tight shoes after a workout is really uncomfortable.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

If you lose a LOT of weight, it might affect the size of your feet. But I think a lot of it is that shoe sizes are not very consistent anyway. If youre present shoes are too big, your feet might be losing weight, or maybe your shoes are just stretched out.

Yes. It is common for your shoe size to go down. Most overweight people have thick feet and when they lose weight, their feet get smaller.

I would wait til you are at your goal. It depends on how much you are losing but my shoe size went up 1 1/2 sizes when I was pregnant.

I would weight until you are completely at your goal weight. Naturally when you have more weight on your body, the fat is distributed throughout. As you loose weight, the weight is going to shed from all over the body, including the fat you may have on the top part of your foot, your toes, etc.
