I don't believe anything is demonic because I don't believe in demons, but I do agree that televangelists are a waste of tv airtime.

IMHO, any preacher who lives in a church-bought million dollar home, jets around the world on church-paid vacations, and claims to be a Christian. is reporting directly to a higher power. And it's certainly not God or Jesus. Anyone that would exploit the sick, the poor, the elderly, and the mentally weak for personal gain are evil. As is anyone that would scapegoat or demonize the innocent to scare people into dropping a couple more dollars onto the collection plate.

I question the "Word of Faith" preachers. I just can't see Saints Peter and Paul running around the ancient world like TD Jakes, Benny Hinn and Rod Parsley.

I have met Hinn, and I have seen what his methods are. H eis pious and very set of his man made doctrine. He is like Jonathon Edwards....cold reader and has help in his assistants.
Yes he is pathetic, but if any one get healed at anything he is a part of,it is God who has mercifully and divinely intervened. Not Hinn.
God protects the weak, but Hinn will answer one day to Him.

I think you are absolutely right...same with all the televangelists! This is what the Bible says about people such as this...
2 Cotinthians 11: 13-15: "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works."

I'm not sure I'd phrase it the same way, and you're certainly passing judgement on him, but yeah, I kind of agree with you. People don't come to faith in God through his ministry, they come to faith in Hinn. Same for many of the tele-preachers. There are good ones out there, though, so don't condemn the idea, and whatever you do, don't judge these people. It's not your place to do so, lest you be judged.

I wouldn't say he is a demonic piece of crap, but I would agree with you that he is a false representative of Christ. He is not for real. I feel sad for those who believe that he is. Yes - he exploits people. I believe that wholeheartedly. The Bible says that God will deal with those who do things in His name for their own purposes. God will deal with Benny Hinn and others who misrepresent themselves in the name of God.

What is the difference. Someone is going to exploit them. They are looking for someone to exploit them. Why shouldn't it be him, or you for that matter. That has always been the way it works.

We should not judge others... Only God knows our hearts and our intentions.
Whether this man is true or not should not be any concern to us. It is his problem with God. We should concentrate on our relationship with God and our hearts and intentions.
There are real and fake people all around us. Which is why our attention should not be on people but on God. People are not perfect they are sinners... No matter who they are!
