You are talking about the number 1 and 2 family cars in the USA. Both are excellent vehicles with great reliability and resale value. A lot of this comes down to personal preference. Which one do you like better? Which has options that you find appealing.
That being said, Car & Driver has had the Accord on their 10 Best list for the past 15 years. And they did just call the Camry interior boring. Check out last month's issue for a head to head comparison on the two.

Get the Honda Accord, they have fantastic engines for their class. Mazdas are sporty looking, fuel efficiency not so nice thou. As for Camry, there's still room for improvement. The Thailand-made cars still have some bugs waiting to be exterminated.

Depends on what you value.
Camry pros: Acceleration, transmission, quietness, ride, interior storage
Camry cons: Thigh support, no folding rear seat in some trims
Accord pros:Acceleration, ride, handling, driving position, front-seat comfort, controls.
Accord cons: Road noise.
Consumer Reports rated them within 2 points of one another, which is really very close, and I think the styling of the Camry is worth at least 3 points.

Neither!
Go for the Hyandai Sonata, It has ten times more features than the Camry or Accord. PLUS it's cheaper
