I couldn't do it, and I know it's painful. My boyfriend's uncle just passed away due to AIDS, it's a painful painful process, but God still has the power to intervene. If I were you I would lay in the face of God in prayer and ask Him what it is you need to do. When the bible says that Christ name is above every name that means AIDS also. We're in the resurrection season right now, and the thing that we celebrate is because Christ rose from the dead, and not only did He rise but He came up with all power in His hands. Why do I say this, because God will intervene when all hope is lost, when you can't do anything, He'll step in and show you who is God. Get in prayer, call someone and y'all travail and call unto the Lord, and make sure your wife know that AIDS don't stop life. Christ said I have come so that you MAY have life, and have it more abundantly. Stay strong in this trying time, and remember to wait upon the Lord, and be of good courage.

No. It is a violation of man's law and of God's law. Both man and God agree that we should not commit murder. Assisted suicide is not legal, and no where in the Bible does it say that the seriously ill should be put out of their misery by another person. God allows suffering. He did not stop the suffering that his own Son endured during his passion. God is good all the time and he is compassionate, meaning that he suffers with us. Suffering is for the betterment of all people involved. Therefore, even unto death, for the wages of our sin is death. I know that this sounds inhuman and it is because we did not inflict this upon ourselves---the devil did and he is not human. Nevertheless, God allowed the suffering of sin and the world to stand in order to pave the way for the first and second comings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I do not understand it all, but someday when I stand before God I hope to.

I guess if THEY were adamant they wanted to be allowed to die, I would try and find a doctor who would "prescribe morphine *very generously* " for the pain they were in...........
If however you are in a country where you are not allowed to help someone die - even if they are in extreme discomfort - then you need to be incredibly careful that their release do not result in your incarceration.
I hope this question is hypothetical, if not, you have my respect for trying to work out how to do what you both feel is right.

This scriptures says females will do this to a minimum of one guy. It does not say God needs this. This merely says that this could happen. Seven females will say/do this to a minimum of one guy (in this destiny) as you assert. have you ever been married? one woman is adequate, greater could make one loopy. Solomon replaced into the wisest guy that has lived, and had many better halves. This made him smart and that i be he regrets maximum of better halves. it form of feels greater could be greater efficient here, regardless of the undeniable fact that it is not so. those females noted will seek for this one guy (possibly Jesus whilst he returns) and say those issues to him. As you nevertheless examine the scripture you will discover it rather is later besides under. Isaiah 4:2-4 (New international version) 2 In that day the dep. of the LORD would be attractive and wonderful, and the fruit of the land stands out as the satisfaction and glory of the survivors in Israel. 3 people who're left in Zion, who stay in Jerusalem, would be referred to as holy, all who're recorded between the dwelling in Jerusalem. 4 The Lord will wash away the dirt of the girls of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by potential of a spirit[a] of judgment and a spirit[b] of hearth. So it rather is yet to come back, it is not a be conscious for you. bless you.

I really feel for you...very hard to imagine ...unless one has gone through this...this is only my view....
i would go by what the patient wanted...increase her pain meds...so she does not feel anything.....if she is already critical, then death will occur soon anyhow...just let the illness take its course.....so she will be pain free and your conscience will be clear....
there might be a slight chance that she may want a little more time with you before she passes on.....
also, is she saved? is she ready to meet god? does she know Jesus as her savior? Does she need to have this assurance before she dies? please be sure she is spritually ready ...she is in your care now.....her eternal destiny may be in your hands....

I don't think that you have a choice. If you don't you will regret it for the rest of your life, that person loves you and needs you... especially if it is your wife, "til death do you part." It will be hard, my step father dies of aids and it was hard, but I got through it. Good luck

Contrary to popular belief, most people do not die of AIDS. They die of other complications, such as pneumonia. No, I would not assist them when there are treatments available, and medicines for pain management. Hospitals do not let people die horrible deaths, they manage the pain to keep them comfortable until they die.

keep in mind the cosequences:
-it would be considered murder by the court
-a part of you may feel guilty
-family members may blame you
if you are okay with the consequences, then i think assistance in dying is okay - it's your and your wife's personal decision then
however, i think it would be better to first give her hope & comfort so that in her last days she can spend all her moments being looked after by you

I firmly believe that anyone of sound mind has the right to choose to die. In cases like the one you described, there enters a quality of life issue.
If one can function reasonably normally day-to-day, then no. If one is suffering while bedridden, and can say "I'm ready", then they should be allowed that right. That is nothing but merciful.
