I have a crush on this really cute guy. Well I know he likes me too, but told me the other day that he has to get back with his son's mother even though he doesn't want to. Why would you wanna be with someone who doesn't make you happy?

He doesn't hate her. He wouldn't get back with her if he did. He may have anger, resentment and may say very bad things about her to other attractive women, but you've no clue how he really feels about her. If he has even the slightest interest in you, he's not going to admit to having feelings for his ex to you. I have a guy that I've had a crush on for YEARS, whenever him and his girl break up, he's all over me and says terrible things about her, but they always end up back together. While this relationship is not healthy, they don't hate each other. Move on, he's got a lot of baggage, until he's free of her for an extended period of time, she'll always be a threat.

well try to get him to understand that regardless he will always be his son's father and he doesnt really need to be with his biological mother to father his cihld. father is only one, nobody will change the fact that he is his child's father-unless he isnt, of course- but anyways, even if he's not with the child's mother, he is still and will always be his father. and if they get back together, they will be really unhappy... they broke up once, and it was for a reason... just because they have a child together, doesnt mean that the relationship will get any better... in the long run, they will all be unhappy, including the child, becaues eventually he will find out whenever his parents argue, and might even feel it was his fautl they are arguing...

He doesn't hate her or he wouldn't go back. I actually went through this. A divorced guy I was dating decided he couldn't be apart from his kids and went back and remarried his wife. He isn't the happiest person, but he is happier living with his kids than without them. It depends on the person.

He doesnt hate her - it might have something to do with the kid too, but kids dont keep 2 people together who hate eachother. But he still has feelings and history with her - So thats probably why.

Because he wants to be there with the wife and he wants both cake-you and ice cream-her....The guy is messing with your head and your life. Go forward and find a man who can care for you and not place you 2nd-you are falling into a weak point and you are his mistress...

Let him go and move on... and HEY - Don't take him back when he starts crying about how unhappy he is and what a mistake he made... cause is not your problem anymore...
