I agree with glitterkittyy. There are tons of worse stuff than that. At least you can afford a car and a home and a computer. Getting your car stolen and paying 250.00 to get it back is not the end of the world. We live in a place where a car being stolen IS a horrible day. But, it could be WAY worse.

Why must everything personal happen for an imagined reason? In a complex world, events frequently occur for no obvious reason. Your stuff was stolen from your car because some greedy unprincipled thief took it. It's as simple as that. All that Christian mysticism only clouds the issue and provides no viable explanation. This leads directly to your confusion and angst. Every atheist understands that bad things happen to good people without the compulsion to find a spiritually significant reason.
I'm sorry you're having a rotten time of it now and you have my sympathy. In time this unpleasantness will pass and you will feel much, much better. I suggest a walk in the woods. Peace and Love...........

why not look at the glass as half full instead of half empty?
- you stuff was stolen from the car, but at least you weren't in it at the time and walked away with your life
- you must pay 250 to get your car back, but you will get it back and be able to lead a normal life again - there are people out there who can't even dream of this luxury
yes some days are worse than others, but just think of how priveledged you are compared to the millions out there who go for days without eating a bite

I don't believe in the Devil. I believe in Love. I believe in gratitude. Your day is going in whatever way you choose to see it.
When I'm having a horrid day - I try to remember to count my blessings and be kind. You say the whole world is hating you right now? Really? I'll bet if you smile at somebody - they will smile back. I'll bet that if you do something kind - your heart will feel better. I'll bet you woke up in a warm house - with running water - and were able to put food in your belly. If you choose to concentrate on the good - and be grateful - then you'll feel good. If you choose to concentrate on the negative...... well - that's right - that's how you'll feel.
You ask why? Well - because that's how you choose to see it!
God is powerful. It's full of Love, Joy, Happiness, Compassion, and POWER. And It has given you all of those same qualities to use - if you choose to do it.
Within you - you have the power to turn your entire day around! (and even your life) Go for it!!
Namaste!

Sorry to hear you're having a bad day.
Sorry to see you're getting judgemental crap thrown at you.
I might play hard, but I know when to back off, and not kick someone when they're down.
If asking God for a better day is going to make you feel better, then you go right ahead. Hopefully, you'll get that better day you want.
Smile. Even heathens like me don't like to see people have a bad day.

To which I ask you, are you currently suffering festering sores? Is your family alive and well? Do you have a roof over your head and are you able to provide for your own nutritive sustenance? If you're not suffering from festering sores, and have and can do all the rest, you haven't even begun to approach the trials of Job. But I do understand, and yes, Satan will throw anything he can at you to see if he can make you turn your back on God. God allows it because suffering produces strength and character. From one trial to the next, we must persevere.

I don't believe what has happened to you is the fault of your God or your Satan, I think the bad things that have happened were caused by bad people. Hopefully karma will catch up to them quickly and things will be right with you soon.

Crap happens. Now suck it up. Life isn't so bad for you. You're not dying. Want to see something worse? Visit a children's ward at your local hospital where small kids are fighting for their lives. Your day is a friggen party compared to theirs'.

It has happened to me - to test my faith and rely upon God. I just tend to laugh at it all and realize that it really is not all that bad. I could list hundreds of other things that could happen to you that are far worse than what you have gone through.
