Should I trust my mother's selection of men to be around my children?

Personally, I would not, even if I trusted my mother in general. Better safe than sorry. Perhaps mom and her man can come over to your house instead to see the children in your presence?

That is really up to you, however I would not. I trust my mom with all my heart, but I would never allow my children to be around someone I knew nothing about. The world is not all that safe of a place anymore. And your Mom should under stand if you voice your concerns, I am a very over protective Mom, maybe thats not always a good thing, but at least I know my kids are somewhat safe in a world that has gone crazy.

Well, I doubt anyone on here would know your mother better than you do. If it were me and my mother, yes I would trust her selection of people and trust that she wouldn't do anything to put my child in harms way. I get the feeling that you don't trust your mom, or else you wouldn't even be questioning it. If your mother has given you reason to NOT trust her selection of people and NOT trust that she would not allow anyone to harm your child, then you shouldn't let your son stay with her. You have to make his safety your highest priority.

Well,if you are asking such a private choice kind of question in this so public forum, then I am wondering how your life is so empty and friendless.
How is it that you do not trust your mother under any circumstance?
How is it that you feel that the advice, as wild as it may come here, would be better than that coming from your mother?
Did your mother not select to have you?

That is a question that only you can answer. I would say if you are having doubts and you are so worried about it I would not because all you are going to do is worry the entire time that your son would be with them. But if you trust your mom and your only concern is about the guy then just ask her to meet the guy and get to know him and go from there. If you dont trust your mom, well, then i would not leave him with her or her and the guy she is dating. Good Luck!

If you trust your mom....I would. But, be very cautios of the guy. If either of them smoke in the house, I wouldn't. It all depends on how the guy is. If you have to question on whether or not, most likely not. I hope you can find someone that you can trust all the way! Good luck.

Trust your gut instinct! I wouldn't have my kids stay with anyone I have never met before. How about spending time with all of them, so they can visit with your son and you can see how the new guy is for yourself?

Depends on how well your mother knows this guy and how long they have been together. Maybe spend some time with him, watch how he interacts with the baby and go from there. If you have no peace doing this then don't do it. good luck with this sweetie and God bless

sweety if u dont now who 2 leave ur son with ill give u edvice never leave it with a guy unless hes nice charming and hot in other wice leave it with ur mom but if she's crazy then watch out
