Drinking whole milk for me as a child was fine, but as I got older my tummy begin to ache too. My doctor explain my symptoms as "Lactose Intolerance". He said the enzymes in my body was unable to tolerate and break down the fat found in whole milk. I was told to substitute regular Vitamin D whole milk with another brand where enzymes are added to the product to help eliminate bloated and gaseous feeling. The first brand I tried was "Lactaid". Later I tried brands such as "Dairy Ease" and "Horizons" which all worked great because it allowed me to eat my favorite snack of the day...Cereal. I am presently drinking a soy milk brand called "Silk". My coworker said "Silk " worked well with her two year old who also suffered from lactose intolerance. She also liked it because it reduced signs of her daughters allergies which were commons symptoms from her child drinking whole milk, but was still providing the neccessary vitamins for her growing child. There are many flavors to choose from, so have fun and enjoy!

Yes, this is possible and not uncommon! The bacteria in fresh milk may not suit some people. Maybe you can try heating or boiling the milk before consumption. If not, stick with what you have otherwise stated. Also, there ought to be milk powder in the market for you to try, which can provide all necessary vital ingredients such as protein etc.

have not you ever drank cow's milk earlier? (Skim, 2%, complete ---- does not matter....it rather is merely represents the fat content cloth). in case you do not have a challenge with it then you definitely're probable wonderful. regardless of the undeniable fact that, there is often rice milk (which tastes so lots greater efficient than soy milk besides and does not incorporate the greater effective plant estrogens that soy does).

i have heard of this! its quite possible that your daughter is sensitive to the fat in the milk. continue giving her the lower fat milk for now. over time she may outgrow this sensitivity, so try giving her the whole milk every couple of months(if you want) to see if she outgrows it. there is no harm in giving her the 2% if she isn't reacting to it. it still has enough vitamins etc...
good luck

Sounds like she has a sensitivity to the milk fat. I had a child that this happened to. She eventually grew out of it :)
