Go to the shelving area in any of your local stores and buy the stretchy stuff that comes on rolls that is used as shelf liners in your kitchen cabinets. It looks like bubbly flat rubber and I'll be darned if I can remember the name. Anyway, even the grocery stores have this stuff. Cut pieces and put under the feet of the sofa or cut strips if your sofa doesnt have feet. It will definately stop your sofa from sliding.

Head over to the hardware store and get some non-slip ends to place on the sofa feet.

The come in packs of 4 for a couple of bucks. They have a non-skid bottom and a place for the sofa leg to rest on.
