Jehovah's Witnesses preach a message of "good news", and leave all judging for Jehovah and Jesus to perform "on the last day".
(Acts 10:36,42) Declare to them the good news of peace through Jesus Christ: this One is Lord of all others. ...this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead
(John 11:23-25) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.
(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment
(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me
(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day
(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed
In addition, Jehovah's Witnesses are quite famous for teaching that "hell" does not exist as Christendom has taught it; God has *NOT* arranged for any such place of fiery torment for sinners in some netherworld. The original Hebrew and Greek words most commonly translated as "hell" actually refer to the common grave of mankind; the Scriptures point forward to a time after Armageddon when humans will live forever and death and "hell" are themselves destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
A person who practices any form of fornication does not qualify for baptism as a Jehovah's Witness Christian.
(Galatians 5:19-21) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, ...those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.

By Man"s own Words He will be Justified.Or Condemed.
You said You would not turn from or give a certain Sin to God
This is very Sad .

You made some very valid points about sin. One thing you don't have to worry about is going to "hell," since there is no such fiery place of torment.
http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/2002/6/1/article_02.htm
And as you mentioned there are many sins that are condemned in the Bible. God doesn't rate sins he simply says at 1Corinthians 6:9,10 that unrighteous people will not inherit God's Kingdom. Greedy people, adulterers, fornicators are listed in the same list as homosexuals. It is not for humans to do the judging.
On the other hand, it is important to know what God's requirements are in order to please him. He has rules that he expects us to live by. But it all comes down to you have a choice, we all do. But it is also important to understand with every choice there is a consequence. If you are interested in learning about what God requires, please take the time to look over the following brochure.

James M, I have a question for you. Who do you think Jesus Christ is? Do you believe He is God? This is the bottom line!
I understand evangelicals get on your case and they don't look at other sins. I have said this before and I will say it again, Jesus Christ (the only sinless one, the uniquely born of God) paid for EVERY sin that was committed or will be committed.
He was made to be sin for us. His last words on the cross were
"IT IS FINISHED". He pleased the Father by paying the penalty for all sin. No one else could do this! He is perfect.
Now, the ? is do you believe He is God and died for you? If
you do then you are His child and will be in heaven. Now,
I noticed another answer someone posted about homosexuals not entering the kingdom of heaven. That doesn't mean heaven per se , it means if they continue in
there sin the will not have any rewards in heaven . Heaven
is not equal, it's place of happiness and then extreme happiness. So, there are levels of heaven and many things
going on beyond our wildest imagination. So, that's what
that means. Loss of rewards in heaven and extremely happiness. But this doesn't mean, I'm in so what! It means
you want to please the Lord in all you do and He wants the best for you. Also, there is the principle of reaping and sowing, we commit a crime we have to pay for it. Wrong decisions in ones life either Christian or non-Christian it can
bring many problems.
The J.W.'s are WRONG,they don't believe Jesus Christ is
God. They are NOT Christian!

Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, we all inherited the sin nature. We are all sinners. All of us can be homosexuals, murders, fornicators, thieves, adulterers, gossipers, addicts, gluttons or liars. Probably even more than one of those. We all posses this sin nature, which causes us all to be born separated from God and do the things that He has told us not to do..
Jesus came to the earth for the purpose of becoming the blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins. Those of us who will choose Him as our Lord and Savior and repent (which means to turn away from sin), will be given the free gift of forgiveness and eternal life with God.
God doesn't want anyone to be lost. He loves us so much even though we are born sinners. He has provided Jesus’ sacrifice for us while we are still sinners.
Not choosing Jesus is the only way that we remain separated from God. It is then, our job to stay filled with the Holy Spirit that He has given to Christians (those who have accepted Jesus) for the help we need to obey Him. Prayer to Him and obedience is what God has ask us to do for our benefit.
Coming to Jesus for love, leadership and forgiveness is the way to have a better life here, a renewed relationship with God and the promise of Heaven. The only way.

Religious proscriptions on homosexuality are the vestigial remnants of Bronze Age tribal bigotry. People who tell you that being gay is a "sin" are therefore troglodytes. Leave them to their caves, and seek the clean air of more reasonable, enlightened, evolved company.
My favorite response to this line of questioning is the "Being gay isn't a sin, but acting on homosexual impulses IS" tack. The idea being that God has singled you out for this special challenge, endowed you with these impulses which you must resist under threat of hell - but if only you can manage to slink through this life denying your own nature and lying to yourself and everybody else, you'll be "saved" in some projected afterlife. And "Christians" can disguise their narrow, petty, judgemental natures, even as they indulge them, by pretending to "love" you while hating your "sin" - which they do for your own good, that you might see the light! Even better, they say that God has ordained that all premarital sex is a "sin," and therefore all gay sex is a sin because gay people can't get married! There is no use in trying to shoehorn any sense or decency or true morality whatever into the three-inch-thick craniums of these imbeciles.

You make some excellent points. Even if I believe in God and believed that the Bible was his word, it would not be my place to pass judgment on others and decide who's going to Hell and who's not. Not to mention that a lot of the people who scream the loudest about homosexuality being a sin are people who live in sin themselves (by being obese, divorced, remarried, etc...). Their hypocrisy is disgusting.
That said, I hope you realize that there's no such thing as Hell, and that no one should be punished for loving.

especially jews in the time of moses were noted for being a homophobic culture so it's more than natural to assume Moses would pass some edict against being gay or lesbian. Think about it, the guy was a lawyer and in the tribe that was responsible for running their religion, they didn't get land they got to collect the temple tributes! nice deal eh? common sense tells you that Moses wrote the commandments himself. the reason he broke the first set was because the people were excercising their free will ( religious people HATE when you think for yourself) and worshipping Baal. yawheh was one of MANY that were worshipped by the jews! yawheh was Moses's god and isn't interesting that the JEWISH God was living on Mt. Sinai in SAUDI ARABIA??? Moses knew damn well what he was doing when he lead them out of Egypt, he spent years there as a sheppard! they were also a nomadic tribe so why would they wander just because God was pissed at them? Wandering is what nomads DO. If anyone is going to hell it's these hypocritical Jesus freaks who use him to justify their ignorance and are afraid of having sex. Remember: if Jesus can help a samaritan on the sabbath ( capital crime those days) then who are any of us to say your going to hell because your gay? One last thing: that law was written seperate from the commandments. moses gave them that plus the rest which were LEGAL laws NOT SPIRITUAL.

Nice try...but not quite.
First of all there are four sins that cry out to heaven for vengence...homsexuality is one of them. Obesity, speeding, and divorce are not.
Also...if you sin, recognize that you have sinned and ask for forgiveness, then sin again...it's not the same as sinning and not caring what God thinks or trying to make your sin "okay."
But you are right...those who are sinning...knowing they are sinning and don't care are in danger of eternal damnation. But most of us are a work in progress...what I thought was okay 20 years ago (such as abortion) I now know is a sin. So, it takes time and revelation to recognize sin. You obviously don't recognize yours...doesn't make it less of a sin though.
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." The point is don't stay there...get moving. Stop sinning and turn towards God.

Christians are encouraged to turn from their lives of sin. That is why Jesus said, "Go and sin no more." But considering Christ died while we were still sinners, even Christians aren't perfect.
I for one will be the first to say that I am not perfect. I am a sinner, but because of my salvation in Christ - putting him as Lord and Savior - I am saved from the ultimate penalty of sin.
This is NOT an excuse to sin, however. It should be instilled into the Christian heart to be like Christ. However, God knows that we screw up from time to time. That is why Christ gives us forgiveness when we truly wish to 'turn from our ways'.

The Bible states that not all people will go to Heaven, no exact numbers are given but the following verse demonstrates that it will be a smaller number of people. The way to hell is described as wide and broad meaning that it is the easy way to go, many people will chose this road. The road to heaven on the other hand is just the opposite.
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14
