The Book of Revelations is happening right now along with a number of other prophecies. How can you explain Israel becoming a nation in 1948 or the talks that are going on right now about rebuilding Solomon's Temple( That is a major end time prophecy). Wars, rumors of wars, wide spread disbelief, The EU. Most of the signs are there. Its all just a matter of time before it starts.

No my friend; Revelation hasn't happened yet. But I believe we're getting very close. It speaks of the "mark of the beast" in the hand or the forehead. It has never been possible before to track a person until the advent of microchips and GPS. When Revelation does occur, you wont be able to hide, buy or sell, or a host of other things that you can do today. It mentions a one-world leader who will come on the scene and bring a temporary peace to the world.(About 3 1/2 years) but after that will attack Israel and declare war with Christ himself. Trust me on this one, you don't want to be here when this happens.
Yes, the bible was written long ago, but is still very relavent today. Consider the fact that it was written by 40 different authors over a period of about 400 years and saying essentially the same thing.
Now go to the Good Friday services and have a great Easter.

Everything in Rev has had an earlier fulfillment. That scripture is important because of the global scope of the work it describes. And it is important because it points to what Christians should be doing—a preaching work that would precede and herald the momentous and far-reaching event that Jesus called “the end.” God's Kingdom did not come then. That is a future prophcey as mentioned in Dan 2:44. That prophetic verse is being fulfilled today. You are involved because the good news contains both an invitation and a warning. It offers you a choice: Accept God’s Kingdom or oppose it. Jesus foretold there would be large-scale wars, famines, pestilences, and great earthquakes. He also said that lawlessness would increase, false religious teachers would mislead many, and true Christians would be hated and persecuted. All of this was bad news.—Matthew 24:4-13; Luke 21:11. The first part of the composite sign Jesus gave was WW1 when the nations turned against nation. Those anointed chosen ones are a generation and the end will come before they are all dead. Some will be called up and changed into their spiritual bodies and never have to die at all. Now that we are in the end when one dies they go straight to heaven without having to sleep in death and wait for their resurrection. Those who died before 1914 went right after that. That was the first resurrection for man to heaven. Also read 1Tim 3:1-5 (a sign of the end) we all can relate to this. But there was also good news. Jesus next spoke the words quoted above, words that have intrigued and inspired men for centuries. The diciples who followed Jesus were only the behinning of those that would be chosen to rule in heaven with Jesus. They have been special chosen down through the yrs. They have been called out of false religion and into the truth. Just like the earlier ones was. Those Israelites are the ones God loved and wanted to rule with Jesus but as a whole they rejected the messiah making God have to choose from among all the nations a people for his name and Kingdom. They are called Modern Israelites, Ambassidors for Christ, anointed ones, 144,000, Congregation of God, (called out of false religion and into his true congregation, Jehovah's Witnesses) (Romans 9:6 However, it is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all who [spring] from Israel are really “Israel.) The rest of mankind have the hope of being resurrected back to earth live under God's Kingdom. Or be destroyed as if they were burned up because they will have no more hope to live. Read Psalms 37: 9-29. (speaks about the end of this system of things/worlds governements) The takeover of God's Gov. His Kingdom. ALSO teV 21;3,4 PLUS MANY OTHER CHAPTERS.

I dun think so...Nero Caesar was not 'given authority over every tribe, tongue and nation' since he only ruled the Roman Empire. The 7 seals, 7 trumpets and 7 bowl judgments have not happened yet since in history there are no disasters as horrible as those mentioned in Revelations.
I strongly believe the events in the Book of Revelation are still future...

Revelations was originally written t about the time of the fall of the Roman Empire, which many thought was the end of the world.

Nero Ceasar? 666? Would you like to explain that one?

The way the world is desending, why not revelations happening already.

Look at all the weather problems, starvations, homeless and deaths.

Satan is suppose to be in the form of a leader that the people will follow = I'm thinking the american president or the pope.

It's believed John received the revelation somewhere between 81-89 AD, Nero died in the year 68, so I can't see it.

Some who can be called Historicists will tell you yes. But I don't see it. Zechariah 14 and 12, as well as Ezekiel 38 and 39 haven't happened yet. Also Daniel 11, though a Historicist wouldn't agree with me.

Revelation was written to seven known communities in Asia Minor, which is now called Turkey.

The entire region is Muslim and has been for some time.

Obviously the predictions never occurred, and Rome eventually took over Christianity.

They didn't have a clue about the future.
