I remember sitting down and playing Barbies with my mother. (now deceased) I was having my Barbie play "babysitter" of my mom's Barbie's kid. My Barbie didn't put the kid to bed and the "parent" came home and got mad.

When a close family friend bought his daughter and niece expensive water pistols and bought me a very much cheaper one. I was about 7 years old and that was over 50 years ago. Believe it or not this is my first memory of rejection as a child and led to many problems in later life.

I remember being on bus that broke down near the city of Giradot in Colombia. I was 3 at the time. I remember standing around with my family while we waited for the bus to be fixed. We went to some restaurant and had lunch while we waited.

Being nervous about (can't really call it fear) the raggedy Ann doll at the landing inside the entrance of an apartment, at the bottom of the stairs. Adults have no idea what effect those made-up, mocked-up horrors they create have on small children.

Holding my mother's hand, walking up some hospital stairs to go and see my father, who had just had an operation. I was 14 months' old at the time! I know this as my mother was heavily pregnant with my sister and there are 14 months between us.

To at present i'm the only guy or woman i understand who in 2nd grade, have been given themselves up for college, showered, made my very own breakfast, have been given to college on time, got here living house, did my homework, and started cooking dinner for my mom. i did no longer have numerous a childhood. i replaced into compelled to strengthen up while i replaced into 6, and that i did no longer like it.

Sitting on my aunt's couch, my feet went to the end of the cushion. They brought my sister home from the hospital and put her on my lap. I was 2 1/2.

My mom and dad got into one of their daily fights and dad said he was going to kill us all...My mom took me to the bar with her and then when she wanted to go home I started crying..I was so scared..She was standing at the end of the counter (bar) with me in her arms and I was holding onto the door of the refrigerator they kept beer in so that she couldn't take me...Then some lady that my mom didn't even know said I could stay the night with her...so I did..
When we got there her house was full of people...I didn't sleep a wink that night...I was about 6 at the time..

sleeping at nursery at nap time and not being able to because the red mats were uncomfortable so i started talking to this boy and then the nursery teacher came in and started shouting and told us to go to sleep or he would put us outside. i told my mum and got him sacked.
