I'm going to Hooters to watch baseball as soon as my office closes.

I know exactly how you feel! Everything is closed so that I can't go shopping or even buy a book to curl up with and I don't celebrate Easter anymore. I'm all alone with nobody to talk to, because all of my friends are with their families. Also, it's my birthday this Monday and I won't be able to do anything at all!

Oh yes, Christians holidays are a HUGE inconvenience for me!

I'm going to watch all my movies and moan about my miserable life. I suggest you do the same.

You could attend my French classes at the University of Texas at Arlington. The university does not close down for Good Friday, so I am teaching classes as normal.

Other than that, you can probably find restaurants to dine out in. I don't think they're all closed. Grocery stores should be open, too. And there's always online shopping.

Doesn't "inconvenience" me one bit. Actually it's kind of nice that I'm sitting here in my office while most everyone else is off for the "holiday" and the phones aren't ringing off the hook like they usually do because most other people are off too, except I decided to come in and catch up on some work because heck I'm Druid and celebrate different holidays!

I don't have to work today....there is nothing inconvenient about that!

Do something else you find fun. Do you have some type of a hobby (besides shopping?) Go for a walk. Rent a good movie. Enjoy the extended weekend.

yes, it does inconvenience me. it's my daughter's birthday today and she wanted to go out for breakfast. most places were closed. we finally found one that was open. it's not the reason for the holiday that annoys me, it's just that there isn't anything you can do when nobody is working. but on the other hand, if today wasn't a holiday, then i would be at work! lol
we're going to clean up around the house and do crafts today

Inconvenience... how so?

The world will still go on the same... whether you celebrate this day or not! Go the mall.. or movies... read a book... watch TV... these are few suggestions.

I see a lot of people who are off of work today that don't believe in "you know who."..That hardly seems like an inconvenience.

Do you live in a small town?..All of the malls here are open.

Are you sure the mall is closed? The vast majority of retail only closes Sunday.
