Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23 KJV)

Jesus was called Emmanuel. He was also called many names like the lamb of God or the Light of the World as well. Jesus is both God and Man who was sent to save all of mankind. So therefore, God was with us and Emmanuel/Jesus is the Messiah.

John the Baptist is the witness, a witness must be first. as were the 12 Apostles Revelation 12.
John the Baptist was born of a virgin as was Jesus, but John was born first, to prepare the way. as he was in the past.
John the Baptist is Emmanuel as he is also the writer of the Gospel of John as men call it, and the book of Revelation.
John was dead on the LORD's Day, beheaded.
The church and the council have deceived you.
But because they worship Satan, they mix lies with truth.

You really should try another version than the KJV.
Jesus was called Emmanuel, that just was not his formal name.
Jesus IS the Messiah, the way and the truth.
Peace!

As you have rightly noted, His name Immanuel means God with us. Jesus Christ is God who came in human form so there is no argument as regards his personality. He came to dwell with us. He himself said, when He was leaving that He would not leave us comfortless but would send us another comforter just like Himself. This comforter is the Holy Spirit who lives in us and among us just like Jesus did.

Emmanuel is a Title not a name.
I hope you are not going to make the same mistakes you did when you posted all those incorrect statements from the other site.
P.S. I said STATEMENTS not BIBLE QUOTES

He is called 'God is with us'. Christians keep telling people that he is God, but the debate continues daily. People who deny Jesus try to confuse the matter, but Jesus is God with us nonetheless.

Emmanuel was his street name. He and the other gang-bangers in Nazareth often went by other names.
