Yes you can - there is not that much beeding in tattooing.

Treat your anemia though, regardless.

I think some people are confusing anemia with hemophillia...

I'm anemic and I've never had a problem with tattooing, unless you have a poor artist who just does a hack-job on you, you're not likely to bleed very much at all. (I actually didn't bleed at all getting my first one). Just remember to take your iron supplement/pill/injection or what have you that morning and you should be just fine. Eat a good meal afterwards and if you begin to feel light headed, take an iron-rich vitamin and lie down.

If in doubt, call your doctor of course. Best wishes.

Depending on the severety of the anemia, its always best to check with your doctor. But overall, you should be fine. There isn't that much bleeding involved with tattooing and as long as your artist is aware of this condition, he or she can account for it.

As far as being on your period, that shouldn't matter. As a personal experience I found I am more irritatble during that time and find modification to be more painful and its not something I can enjoy like I would otherwise. I avoid getting piercings or tattoos while on my period, but there is no harm if you do get something done during that time.

Yeah she can. I am not anemic but when I have got my tattoos they have never asked if I was or if I was having my period.

Yes, unless she is a free bleeder. You don't lose that much blood getting a tattoo.

no harm in having your tat at this time although pain levels seem lower when having your period, depends on the level of your anemia too

you can but i wouldn't suggest it. i guess it depends on how bad your anemia is but if its as bad as mine you could faint or something worse if you really want to try taking some iron pills beforehand and if you feel dizzy afterwards, orange juice will help

no because the blood is too thin and the bleeding would make the ink disappear out of the skin!
