I am a Christian, and I wonder if you consider that my behavior is the worst behavior? I am not on drugs, I don't drink, not in jail, have no children in foster care, I support charities which benefit others, I give my time and my effort to the neighborhood to help many who are in need.
My step-son is doing better in school than he ever did at his mother's, we teach him to be polite, kind, considerate.
I rescue animals, from stray dogs and cats to wounded birds and other wild critters. I walk softly on this earth, believe in conservation.
I have no place to condemn others... but I strongly beleive that Jesus is the way to a joyful eternal life.
It is true I have seen people who claim Christianity in words, but do not reflect the light or love of Christ in their lives. The Bible is not silent on this matter, nor does the word of God condone this behavior.
With regard to copying this from someone else, I at least commend you for being forthright about that.. I would just be curious to know more. And I often wonder if they really believe in God and Jesus Christ, if they really go to church every Sunday.
Oh and you could call me a devoted follower of Jesus the Christ. I am completely sold out to Him.

The Bible says `WE all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD` We all have a sinful nature ,even if we have excepted CHRIST as our SAVIOR. As the song goes " we fall down we get up " Christians dont have the worst behavior or the best, we have CHRIST. As we grow in CHRIST and if our hearts thoughts, lives, and our fruit does not change , then we need to look at our faith , faith without works is dead..I do not believe a Devoted CHRISTIAN should point and tell anyone they are going to hell, we should always give a answer why we have hope in CHRIST. He that is without sin cast the first stone...

This type of reasoning is called a logical fallacy based on a generalization. This is one person's interpretation of what has been observed.
1. Tell us what "some of the parents" mean. 10%, 40%, 80%, 90% 99%?
2. Tell us about the OTHER parents. What were THEIR children like?
3. Have you ever gone duck hunting? You fire a shot gun at a flock of flying ducks. Some fall to the ground dead, others are injured but may still escape you. Which ones do you go after? It is possible that Satan pays special attention to those that may still escape him; all others are dead ducks!!

So,
You are saying that ALL Christians have the worst behavior?
And further deciding that the more you go to Church the larger the chance that you are on drugs, in jail, dead, with your kids in foster care??????
Sounds like a straw to far to reach for me...
Good luck and Blessings to you.
Peace!

Anyone who predicted the outcome of the Kentucky Derby based on one person's opinion wouldn't have very good odds of winning. Not only that, but their fact-finding methods are questionable at best.
The same thing is true of basing your opinion of all "devoted Christians" on the say-so of one person. I have many friends who are devoted Christians and neither they nor their children are drug addicts, jailbirds, or involved with any other criminal activity.
Next time, I'd suggest that you talk to more than just one person before making a generalization about an entire group of people.

I don't think you can say that devoted Christians have the worst behavior based on this...
Anyone can claim belief...what does it mean to say "I'm a Christian"? Nothing if your lifestyle does not reflect that belief. So? Do not believe everything you hear or read...as a non-believer that should be obvious.

God can use non-Christians too u know! im a Christian and this has happened to me. my mother claims to be a godly woman....but i dont really see anything godly about her. thats why im not living with her...but living with my dad instead. the parents who do these things....well they are sinning. Christians sin...that why they became a Christian to be forgiven! we arent perfect. but if a parent continually does this without any REAL intention of stopping...they are not a true a Christian...im not judging....but just based on what they do and that they arent gonna stop they arent a Christian because Jesus forgives us for our sins....because we are sorry. how can u be sorry if u rnt even gonna try to stop? yeah. parents who are in jail...they can still be Christian bugt they could have also made a mistake. they are not perfect.
the guy whoever said that...God could be using him for those kids since they have no real parents to actually care for them. God uses non-Christians for His will. and non-Christians dont even know it!
God bless u. =]

It's not abouot how good people percieve them to be. It's about how they trust God. Do they or don't they, you didn't say.
And it might seem like semantics, but being a Christian doesn't save you. Believing in Jesus as the savior and trusting God by what He says makes a person a Christian.
If you got that, then you would undertand that whatever these people do is secondary to what I said before. It's all about Jesus, what is any persons relationship with Him?

I don't care what they say or act like if their works do not reflect their faith then they are NOT "Christ-ians" whatsoever. The meaning of the Word is One who FOLLOW Christ which means the Anointed One, - ians - means "little followers who FOLLOW to the "spirit" of the letter the person Jesus the Living Son of God. And they can yell and scream all they want to about this, so their actions will prove out they do not follow the benovelent LOVING Father they claim to serve - Isaiah 61, 1st Corinthians 13, if they are NOT tolerant, loving, forgiving, HELPING without regard to race, color, creed or religion accord to MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN and let's not forget ACTS, laying down their own agendas in live to HELP their neighbor in need than they are NO Christ-ian indeed. and I AM a born again, spirit filled believer in the Lord Jesus Christ myself so I KNOW HIM of whom I speak!
