If you're truely sorry, apologize. Not knowing the subject of the arguement, that's all I can offer, but at least you think you may have been either wrong or too harsh, or something to get on their wrong side, and that's being adult about it. Good for you.

Be honest with them, talk it out, talk calmly about it and try and get them to understand how bad you feel about it.
You could also show appreciation for them - but depending on the fight, it may look wrong.
