Absolutely. And if the restaurant is at all concerned about customer service, they will want to know if something they were serving was contaminated. They most likey will want to just return your money, otherwise they know what kind of hell a contaminated food complaint to the county or state inspection office could do to their business. If they don't wish to cooperate, do just that. Call your local or state food inspection agency and file a complaint.
Hope that helps!

If you're sure it's from the food you ate there, then I would probably either call them or the Health Dept and let them know what happened. They should refund your money or make other amends, and it can also prevent other incidents if perhaps it was caused by a condiment or anything else that's still being served, or perhaps the conditions in the kitchen are indeed bad.
I'd let it depend a little on what kind of food caused it though; my parents once got sick from oysters and those are a known risk food... I love them but they're eaten raw, even when fresh there can be a bad one in the bunch. The rest of the food looked & tasted good, I ate from the same dish and didn't get a bad one, we just chalked it down as bad luck and moved on.

I'm not sure why your wife is acting like that...but maybe you should go visit your mother or brother and take a long visit to the doctor's office to get away from all that negatively. I've been in a relationship like that before, and you just have to deal with the lack of compassion at time....it sounds like she sees your sickness as a burden, so if I were you, I would drive myself to the doctor (maybe see a movie afterwards) and leave the ***** with the kids

If you got sick with in 2 or so hours of eating it may have been food poisoning and you should be checked out, as well as notifying the restaurant. It's a health issue not just a refund issue.

My sister works for a county health department and gets lots of phone calls that begin with a story like yours and a request for the health department to inspect the restaurant. They require a physician's confirmation of food poisoning. Call your doctor first and be sure to obtain the necessary lab work (usually a stool sample will be required). Good luck!

You can try but odds aren't good. You'd have to prove that it was the food from the restaurant that made you sick and not something you'd eaten earlier in the day or the previous day. Sorry you're not feeling well!

Call them and explain that you got sick from their food, don't expect anything b/c that is what you will most likely get. Maybe you are not the only one who has the same complaint they may be willing to give your money back if you don't act like you expect it.

Go to the hospital with your Lawyer first and have your stomach pumped out. If the test proves that it was the restaurant's fault your lawyer can launch a million dollar lawsuit against them. Before you know it you will own the restaurant until somebody sues you for it.

You can certainly try.
You may have to prove that it was the food in the restaurant that caused your sickness.

YOu can certianly try but I wouldn't eat there again. COntact your County Health Department. Others need to be warned if the food is the problem.
