Vulva cancer can follow cervical cancer.
Vulva cancer is rare (as is anal cancer) but the chance for it is increased in those with actual cervical cancer, same as in women with anal cancer also being at higher risk for cervical and vulva cancer.
Yours is pre-cancer. Many times dysplacia (pre-cancer) never progresses to cancer.
Do they plan to biopsy before lasering?
A forum for vulva or anal cancer could probably provide you with more info regarding vulva dysplacia.
Dysplacia is not cancer, but a system is used to stage it similar to a system used for staging cancer.
What stage is your dysplacia? You should ask your doctor what the "CIN" numbers are for each.
Assuming your dysplacia is less than stage 2, or else it couldn't be lasered off the surface since stage 2 or higher means the pre-cancer cells have advanced to at least 1/2 the thickness of the cervical lining.
Regarding the cervix, a cone biopsy of the cervix is usually the next step if precancer cells are beyond the surface of the cervix lining (known via biopsy), since lasering the surface cannot remove the cells deeper in the lining.
Call your doctor's office and ask what your CIN number is for the vulva dysplacia so you can properly look up the stage and its meaning to you.
Remember that dysplacia is not cancer, yet you should inform yourself with as much info as you can via researching.
Again, a dysplacia forum or, even though you do not have cancer, maybe even a rare cancer forum can direct you to the best information regarding what to expect afterwards and how to best relieve any symptoms after lasering.
Good luck to you.

i had the hpv virus and had to have my uterus lining "frozen". It didnt hurt and there was only a little cramping after. I am not sure about the vulva though. You will probably have to see the dr every 3 months for a while to make sure that all of the cells were destroyed.
Good luck

I imagine you have genital warts and are not aware of it.
If you have ever had sex in your life, you probably do. Dont fret over it, just get it taken care of ASAP.
You will probably start bleeding a couple days after the procedure much like your period. You may have a sore vulva.
Good luck.
