If you believe that God is all powerful, then you do injustice to Him if you do not believe He is able to have created life on other planets, which He also made. Christ came to EARTH, because mankind(God's creation on this planet) failed and sinned.
Whether God has made life elsewhere, I don't know...but I MUST believe he is capable. Also, as I understand the Word, at one time in the dateless eternity past, God had given Angels dominion over the planets. Satan (Lucifer) had dominion over Earth until he rebelled and was cast out of heaven and down to Earth. My thinking is that there had to something on the other planets for the angels to have dominion over. Who can say (except God) about what other worlds, economies, or life forms are on other planets or galaxies, etc. And, I believe God (who is the ONLY god)deals with each of these worlds according to laws He has given them (if He has created any anywhere)
I DO believe, however that we, (mankind) are the ultimate best of God;s creation, even though we were made a "little lower that the angels," we were made uniquely " in His image and His likeness. This is also why I reject "evolution." God didn't have to change anything about us. He made us like He wanted us. E-mail me at "a1976john@yahoo.com, and we can communicate further.

Yes, I do believe there is life scattered throughout the Universe. I don't know if I believe in *intelligent* life elsewhere in the Universe.

If there is intelligent life elsewhere, I believe that each race had its own temptation, where sin could enter the world or not, like when Eve listened to Satan, or when the children brought Jadis into Narnia in "The Magician's Nephew." If the race sinned, then Christ went there to ransom the sins of that world, like Aslan did. (Yes, I do realise I am basing my opinions off a work of fiction, but C.S. Lewis was a Christian, and his views make sense.) And to quote that modern Christian song (ugh, modern Christian rock) God is "the God of wonders beyond our galaxy." It is possible that we are the only planet that is no longer a theocracy, as seen in "Out of the Silent Planet," and that Satan tried especially hard to corrupt us because we were the race made in God's image.

I'm not a Christian nowadays but when I believed in God and Jesus, I believed the same God existed everywhere, but Jesus saved Mankind (on earth), so whatever happened on other planets, we don't know about - maybe they had saviours of their own races come or perhaps their planets did not need saving.

We can only be expected to know what goes on on Earth.

I don't think anyone who is even half intelligent doesn't accept that there must be life on other planets/galaxies etc.

There is only speculation about this, but how do we know that God only created us and not other worlds throughout the galaxies and universe? We may have been his first or even his last attempt to make a perfect world. We have no way of knowing if he may have even created a world after ours that Adam and Eve didn't mess up and it may be a perfect world. The world that we were supposed to be. For all we know even though we were created in his image, God could be an alien of sorts, which would make us aliens as well. Figure it.

Some people believe there may be life on other planets but we are the only intelligent life in the universe so God would only come to us.

Other people who believe there IS other intelligent life out there believe God would come to different beings in a way that race could understand; so maybe he appeared to the Zyborgs of Nevia 12 as a beam of light or something. :) Interesting question!

As a Christian, I do believe there is life in other galaxies/solar systems. I think it would be very self-centered and naive of us to think otherwise. Of course, I don't know for sure. But I figure...the universe is pretty big. I would have to think that we are not the only "intelligent" life out there.

As for your Christ question, I'm not really sure. I guess I didn't think that far ahead. I would imagine that if there was life in other galaxies, then Jesus/God would have come to them too (since God would have created them).

Very thoughtful question!

do not you recognize that they recognize each little thing! They have been incredibly blessed with that present. (haha). One reaction strengthen into hilarious, approximately dropping time, money, and so on believing once you may desire to be assisting others. What a shaggy dog tale. If all atheists, non believers helped others then why is there lots suffering in this international. (are not they a million/2 the inhabitants)? Atheists -non believers desire evidence, there is not any evidence the two to lower back us up OR to lower back them up, yet how with regards to the actuality that God gave them technological awareness and a strategies to apply. no person will ever recognize the actuality on an identical time as in the international, in spite of in the event that they did get too close, think of: (tower of babble) . So why do lots of style to knock us down because of the fact we've self belief and function faith? that's a solid element to have self belief and function faith. God gave loose will and not all absolutely everyone seems to be powerful. era. The sane and standard will on no account recognize the way somebody could desire to take an harmless existence not to indicate a newborn yet yet that occurs each jiffy in daily. No difference. we are able to on no account comprehend their logic yet i recognize that as God will constantly have his followers so will the devil. i've got self belief sorry for those lost souls.

Well, first of all, you ask a question that no one can possibly answer with any real knowledge. But, if there is life out there, still there is only one God. And therefore Christ would have been there to.

As a life long Christian I can only give my opinion, and that is that there probably is life on other planets and that life was created by the same God.

I don't know whether there's life on other planets or not, but it doesn't really matter as far as Jesus is concerned. You see of all the critters God created, man is the only one he created in his own image. So it's all about humans. Jesus became a human and came to save humans. Whatever life there might be on other planets are no different than the wide variety of animals on our own planet. All it would mean is that there's more diversity in the universe than we know about. But Jesus still came to save those who were created in the image of God--humans.

Yes, I believe that there are others out there. But, none out there like us. No humans, no other civilization made in God's image. And I believe that while aliens may be more intelligent, they laque that little piece of God that's inside all of us. I have recently heard that aliens are with Satan, and they are a form of demon, and NOT our friends. There are abductees that have said to the aliens who took them, "in the name of Christ, stay away!" The aliens couldn't bear to hear his name and promptly released the humans. I believe we are no God's first creation, and some of his creations know too much, and have tried to become Gods themselves.

I believe we are on our way to becoming exactly like THEM.

But, then again, maybe not all alien races are bad, and maybe while some look different, they have witnessed God's love too! :)
