Now that is a good question. We know we would have been pissed off and up in arms. But when WE do it, they must like it. go figure

I understand his point, but Mexico has never had a WMD program that anyone knows of, certainly wasn't being deceptive about the state of such a program (in violation of UN mandates) since it didn't exist, and hadn't recently invaded a neighboring country, all of which Iraq did. Not to say we should have invaded Iraq, we shouldn't have. But Chomsky obviously is no more above distorting facts than the Bush administration.

Chomsky doesn´t know left from right, up from down? People should let him getting away from evading the main point!! Are there any similarties between Mexico and Iraq? This is a ridiculous point. Does Mexico need liberation?
That does not change the fact that Bush has time and time again shown great errors in judgment but don´t listen to fools like Chomsky, he may be good in linguistics but in other subjects he is making a fool of himself.

Mexico is a nice place and they are fighters. It wouldn't happen. Plus, If everyone leaves their country for the American Dream, then doesn't that leave prime real estate and desirable places with warmer climates for rich people to go and take over. Oh, the American Dream, talk about a brain washing that worked.

That's different. Iran is not the same as the United States. Saddam begged to be taken out. 75% of Iraqis are glad We came to their rescue. If you saw an individual bullying on small children would you do something or just say it isn't my concern? America is expected to right wrongs in the world. And Radical Islam hates because we are all that stands between them and their goal of taking over the middle east and controlling the world.

Mexico would have a new Naval Fleet and we would have a military base or several in Iran. Problems solved.

We would have supported the Mexican Army and would probably have sent troops in to aid the Mexican government.
