Killing and suppressing atheists and other non-believers has always been a favorite business for a great variety of religions. I think this has severely backlashed on the number of atheists and agnostics that otherwise would have been present today. I think the expansion of humanity in itself could be the worst disaster threatening the world and all life on it, as we know it today. This is for a great deal cause by "religious breeding" by people who see it as their holy duty to throw as much new evangelists on the world. Still I'm humanist enough not be in favor of forced sterilization for "religious delusional people"-law if this would be suggested, but I must say that I almost fell for the idea. What holds me back is the "grey area", who exactly is completely delusional? You can't just start sterilizing people for believing the bible is true. There wouldn't be enough doctors to do the job.

Because God blesses those whom, by faith, believe in Him and recognise His work. If you had all the ingredients for a cake sitting on your kitchen table, the eggs, milk, flour, etc. and a hot oven ready to go: How long do you think it would take for the cake to evolve? It would never happen. Someone would have to mix the ingredients and physically put the batter into the oven, and only then would there be cake. Same thing with the creation of the Universe. It wasn't an accident. God made it all. And belief or disbelief doesn't change that fact. Peace.

Same reason why self-aggrandizing pseudo-enlightened modernists such as yourself aren't.

Really, it's just a very stupid question.

While I also believe that religious zealots are misguided and unaccepting, so are the simple-minded anti-establishment fanatics that try to ask shocking questions to make themselves feel superior.
