I really don't know enough about it. I have a copy of the Qu'ran and have read some of it, but not enough to have an opinon.

I know several Muslims, and have a problem reconciling the terrorists everyone fears to these extremely gentle and loving people (they seem to be far more considerate and tolerant than most Christians I know).

Do I have problems with Muslims? Not at all. All religions have their wackos. You can't judge a religion by a few who misinterpret it. I think you have to read their texts and talk to their academicians and philosophers to truly understand them.

I tink this is the way to tolerance and peace.

By the way, my pediatrician when I was young was a Muslim. Would I go to a Muslim doctor again? Why does religion matter at all?

Hello, Doctor Guy:

We respect your beliefs, but radicals are doing the peaceful much harm.

We also note the persecution of Christians in predominately Islamic countries, like Sudan. There is an active slave trade there, too.

Moslems profess to believe in the Bible prophets, all descendants of Abram, yet they hunt and pick what to believe.

Those prophets explain what and why Islam is. And its advent was related to gross failures in Christianity--they have killed more people in the name of god than any war. Such as 50 mil in Europe, and 50 mil in the Americas. So 1/3 of the Roman Empire is now Moslem because of this.

There is a page describing "The Rise, Decline, and Extinction of Islam in Bible Prophecy. As man of faith and education, you need read it at www.revelado.org/islam.htm

Concerning God's displeasure with Christian failures, you have not seen the end yet. A Bible code identifies this horrible event at www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

Blessings and peace

Islam is the only one religion that consists of more knowledge about nearly everything ,is not complex, completes judaisim and chirtsianity,it strenghtens faith In Allah and all his creations.A religion that proved before science even existed..that when u sneeze your heart stops beating for a second and it regains contact..thats why you give thanks to Allah..science very recently discovered that while doctors were operating on a man with a open heart surgery and during the surgery he sneezed..same goes for the layers of earth n sks..what they are made of how..about water recycling rain..there is heaps more. So,what science proved today..islam centuries ago had already talked about it in the holy book quran...i think islam is awesome!

Al salam alaykom
I'm proud to be a Muslim, I was born Muslim, and I thank Allah for letting me be a Muslim. I was so happy that I was born in the right path to go on with my life peacefully and Islam will always be my religion and nearly everyday I learn something new about Islam. I just feel rested for being a Muslim.

It breaks my heart seeing non-Muslims insulting Islam, because unfortunately they know nothing about it and they need someone who is an expert in Islam to teach them about Islam. May Allah show them the right path, Ameen.

Jikg: The same can go for Christians
Are Christians truthful people?
Are Christians a united ummah?
Are Christians peace loving?
Are Christians tolerent?
Are Christians honest community?
Are Christians educated?
Are Christians helpful to needy people? etc.etc.
Are Christians diciplined?

Peace be upon you
wal salam alaykom

Islam is a growing religion. Each religion goes through a period of growth and refinement. No religion is perfect, so all good ones, including Islam are constantly in change, and hopefully for the better.

I don't know what the religion of Al Qaeda is, but it doesn't seem to be of true Islam.

I am Christian.

I respect you, for who you are, not your beliefs.

I do not agree with your beliefs, nor your leader (Muhammad). The basis of your faith comes Judaism and Christianity, and did not start until after Christ... where was God before that time? I have studied the Qu'ran, there is no sense of peace, from what I read, nor is their a promise of Salvation. Why do Muslims always quote the bible and say that Muhammad is the "comforter" when in the next verse the comforter is said to be the holy Spirit.

These are some of my "opinions" about your faith... not to be disrespectful... but just to answer your question.

What I do know of Islam is very negative. Perhaps it is because all of the news we hear of it in the West are negative about it. I am sure that most Muslims are ordinary people, respective of the law and their traditions. It is only the extremists that we hear about and they influence our views of your culture.

wow, what a strong question you have asked.

Tell you the truth, Its a beautiful religion. There are terrorist in all religions and no one cant say followers of a religion are all terrorists, because its not. It takes knowledge on a religion to actually express their opinion...

Like i said Islam is a beautiful and peaceful Religion believe it or not. And its growing really fast. It gives the same and equal rights to both men and women.

Islam teaches its followers to be killers and creat sects. Some say that they are proud to be muslims. This is a political statement. Just tell me what makes you proud. For example:
Are muslims truthful people?
Are muslims a united ummah?
Are muslims peace loving?
Are muslims tolerent?
Are muslims honest community?
Are muslims educated?
Are muslims helpful to needy people? etc.etc.
Are muslims diciplined?

Just to state that you are proud of being a muslim is ridiculous.
