If all that you say is true about everything being "faith" based and the bible, although written by man, was still written by the hand of God, how do you know that the bible was not actually written by the hand of Satan? Do you really propose that, according to your scripture, a mere human could've known the difference? What if the burning bush and the ten commandments were also created by Satan? Satan is known for such trickery, isn't he?

You never know, you guys may be right about God, Jesus, heaven and hell, but the Devil made the bible so completely unbelievable so as to claim more souls that refused to believe in it!

Psalm 83:18 Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord— that you alone are the Most High over all the earth. I think the Trinity doctrine is totally irrelevant in the case of this verse, it makes no difference. Edit: "Why do some bibles give God a name in that scripture , not three names ?" Well, my guess would be that before Jesus came, the Three were always together and always inseparable. To confuse earlier readers with talk of the very easily misinterpretable "3 in 1" idea, would be pointless. Besides, the Father, the Son and the Spirit do not really have separate names, only titles, i.e. The Word, The Comforter... etc. So essentially, calling God "Jehovah" still includes the entirety of God and does not separate or segregate God in any way.

ok, well first satan being the very enemy of God and basically stands for everything against Him, why would he write a book which has turned many people to God? The bible being the best selling book ever written. The bible is not meant for those who dont believe, what would be the point ? its like giving u a road map when your in a totally different country ?

The only way to tell if a teaching was created by the Devil rather than by God, is to see if it has elements like:

-selfish gain, egotistical ventures, money, fame

involved.

Why?

Because the devil does not exist in the heart of a man who has killed his ego.

Jesus had killed his ego.

Moses had killed his ego.

Actually I think they didnt have any selfish egos to begin with.

If they had, they would have stopped preaching when their lives were in danger.

The Pope, now thats evil.

Anyone who dares to write their name on top of the word of God to get credit for writing is, is evil. The Bible was written by the scribes of Jesus, and whatever thats left of it, is clearly human ego tainted.

But if a man is poor, had no gain nor selfish acts involved in the process of the teaching, had no other motives but to teach, thats called wisdom my friend.

A major point of the Bible is to influence us to come to a saving faith in His Son, repent of our sins (turn away), and surrender control of our lives to His son. The "born again" Christian should see a life increasingly oriented to pleasing God.

That hardly seems demonic / satanic.
