well we dont have "good friday" that is a christian thing..and by the way..what is good friday??? and to the one lady who said we believe in an old lie about a body being stolen..well hoochie mama.. that was a lie made up by christian people not us Jews ok...christian people made up that stupid silly little story about us Jews making up some story about jesus's body being stolen..so why do you believe that silly lie

Christians did not originally celebrate Good Friday or Christmas. They celebrated a form of Easter that was to represent the ressurrection of their savior.

Over time (and through commercialism), Good Friday (significant of the crucifiction) and Christmas (significant of the birth) have become mainstream CHRISTAIN holidays.

Why should they? Good Friday is a Catholic creation. The Bible mentions no such day. The Catholics are also responsible for polluting Christianity with the pagan Easter.

Because there was nothing *good* about it -- just as there's no *good* news in your gospels (good news) if one is a Jew. What could possibly be good for Jews when some crazy dude becomes a martyr?

Its like a rememberance day thats all. We only remember and we do not celebrate.

Because they do not believe that Jesus was the Son of God. So, his death on the cross is not a special day.
