What precisely do you think of a soul is? What homes does it have? What portion of 'you' is dwelling interior the soul? If that's postulated that understanding, or understanding, or experience of self is dwelling interior the soul, that's difficult to work out the way it rather is in many cases reconciled with the total oblivion which accompanies well-known anaesthesia. How would desire to an common chemical, injected into the bloodstream, anaesthetise a soul so as that it effectively ceases to exist in this time? If understanding, interior the form of a soul, have been some form of supernatural school, it could seem amazing that it would desire to be thoroughly disabled by potential of a chemical. How approximately most of the different issues which we regard as needed factors of what makes someone what they are? How approximately love, compassion, reason, empathy, reminiscence, wakeful concept, character, 'spirituality' etc? nicely, there is fairly no attainable doubt that a majority of those issues are homes of the particular recommendations - we are able to regulate all of those homes very merely with alcohol or different drugs, and be conscious how they alter in people who've suffered significant recommendations injury. till now placid human beings exchange into uncontrollably violent, smart human beings exchange into imbeciles, etc. Stimulate the recommendations artificially, and the concern comments corresponding psychological activity, e.g. 'non secular reviews'. we are able to work out from recommendations analyze that a majority of those issues - concept, emotion, sensation, character characteristics etc - are correlated with activity interior the recommendations, and a few issues could be pointed out with specific factors of the recommendations. So, if a majority of those colleges and characteristics of what we regard because of the fact the 'person' stay interior the actual recommendations, as seems to be undeniably the case, and that all of them quit whilst the guy dies, then what's left to be attributed to a 'soul'? so a techniques as i will be sure: no longer something. If there is not any section human beings who would proceed after loss of existence, then there is not any 'afterlife'... and if there is not any afterlife, then maximum of religion is null and void.

The teaching of an immortal soul is not found in the Bible. The Bible actually teaches that the soul is the combination of the dust and God's spirit. When a person dies, God's spirit returns to him and the soul dies. It is only the resurrection which holds any hope for mankind.

It's not as if there's a static number of souls that have always existed and always will exist. A soul comes into being every time a sentient being comes into existence. As population of people increases, so does the population of souls.

mm.. i don't understand your question, but souls do not reincarnate so therefor i don't understand your question. We are conceived and born and afterward are soul never dies and the bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord which makes me think when we die we are not on earth anymore. So souls being immortal does not have anything to do with population growth i would think.

Haven't you answered your own question? Zero death rate is one of the causes of increased population.
If you mean 'where are the new souls coming from?' I think, for the Creator of one, creating many would not be an impossible task. Further, in Hinduism there is this logic of 'Maya' that explains or mystifies everything.

The soul is not immortal. Ez. 18:4: "As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die."
