I'm visiting a Lutheran Church that is having one of these today. What can I expect? I normally go to a non denominational church that is more like penecostal.

I would think that it is a service that doesn't have any specific denominational rituals, but is a generic Good Friday service.

"Ecumenical" means that is not specific to any one denomination. It is presented in such a way that any Christian should find it acceptable. It will be a "generic" Good Friday service.

That means everyone is there.
Islams, Catholics, Baptists, Pentecostals, Congregationalists, Methodists, non denominalists.
It is a party.
