It rains on both the good and bad. The sun shines on the rich and poor, A fruit tree will give it's most juicy fruit to a sinner and non-sinner alike. Both the holy and unholy get hemmoroids.
Some people profess to know Gods laws and don't act on them, while others have the laws written on their hearts and act on them unknowingly. God is no respecter of persons and
sometimes seems like He'll do what his laws decree no matter who followed them. The 'name' of the person (ex. sinner, christaian, atheist, muslim, etc) means less to God than the doing of the laws--knowingly or not knowingly.
The above said Bill Gates, but it also said charitable. The
name Bill and atheist means nothing but the charitable agrees with God's laws. To those that give more will be given.

Because "money" is his god. "The LOVE of money, is the root of all evil" Jesus said, "Choose this day whom ye will serve, No man can serve both God and money"

And if he were the world's most charitable man, he would sell all had and give the money to the poor! Go check out his house, His things. How much he spends on clothes and cars. How many people could you feed with that? How much does just one meal he eats cost??

The reason he's an atheist, is he loves money more than God, more than life. that's why he's got so much of it. If he didn't, he would no longer be an atheist. He's even giving seminars around the country, explaining, that "you too, can be rich if you put your mind to it"

If anyone put all their love in money, and all their effort in having and making it grow, as much as he does, they could be rich too. All that money and giving that he's doing, doesn't win points with God, and doesn't even come CLOSE to the amounts he took away and withholds.

And for what ever it's worth to you, I happen to be a believe in God, and I prayed one night, that He would soften that man's heart, and put it into his heart to start giving it away, instead of hording it all to himself, because the richer he got, the more he took from those who really need it. How else do you explain his sudden turn around. If you remember, he was once considered a very selfish, stingy, prude man. No one in the media or in the news, had little else to say about him. Infact, for a long time, he was despised. Now all of a sudden, people think differently about him, and he's trying to teach others how to make money. He even appeared on christian television recently, wonders never cease.................God Answers Prayer!!

If you knew anything about God and his word, he is not a fan of riches. He could care less about material objects and wealth. Why would he?
Having said that, America has the highest number of "professing" Christians of any country in the world. And it just happens to be the richest and most powerful.
As for America being the most charitable nation, it has given more to world charities than any other country for over 50 years. Look it up yourself.

God gives guidance but Christians have the right to refuse it. Look at the children of Israel. God gave them guidance to leave Egypt, yet they complained, wanted to return, and a journey that should have taken a few days ended up taken 40 years and killing all but those under the age of 21. Just as it was back in the Garden of Eden, free will and freedom of choice are present. We will spend money going to Doctors, getting a prescription, following the direction on the bottle and get better most of the time. Why because we believe the Doctor. Yet, let God tell us to do something and we want a second opinion. Human Nature!

It is the mistake of Christians to think that God gives them and only them guidance, as if God is the God of Christians only!If God is exclusively the God of the Christians then who is the god of all the non Christians? If all the non Christians do not belong or are not created by God then to whom do they belong and who created them ?Either god is one, then everybody receives his guidance even the atheists, or every religion has its own God, then there is no more one God, but as many gods as religions.God is not a puppet or a presidency candidate that needs a majority to vote for him, He does not care if you like him or no, if you back him or no, if you worship him or no ,the result of your behavior is brought to your debit or your credit and not to his , and life is only a test process where you are free to act for or against yourself.Everybody (with a normal mind) knows the do's and dont's of ethics and morals. The choice is yours, and I am confident that the good deed of an atheist has the same value of the same good deed of the Pope or the Mufti Or the rabbi in the eyes of our one and only GOD.

Just because he's atheist doesn't mean he won't go to heaven either. If we are all forgiven, and he sees the error of his ways on the deathbed, would God choose not to forgive?

The man is in the Top 3 of the most charitable people on Earth the last 15 years running, and somehow he's too much of a sinner to go up. I guess Oprah is a shutout too, then.

God guides Christians to make treasures in heaven, not here. Atheist find their life here and the bible says: hey will lose it eternally. S. Mat. 10:39 and 6:19. The Christian's are guided by God, to carry a cross, not wealth, but the reward is eternal life at the end. The rich atheist is eternal death at the end.

Simple: be greedy and unscrupulous, and your God becomes money.

Be humble and charitable, and your reward is something that all the money in the world can't buy: hapiness, love, and joy

P.S. I saw you say that Bill Gates gave away $30 billion to charity. Not quite accurate. Warren Buffet gave $30 billion to Bill Gates's foundation, and Warren Buffet is not an atheist.

"The Gateses credit (Warren) Buffett, says Bill, with having "inspired" their thinking about giving money back to society."

The Lord didn't promise us all of the riches of this world. This is only temporary. Many times Christians are more persecuted than atheists. But He did promise that He would take care of us. And that is what He is doing. We have to trust Him.
