Not everyone is friendly. Some are nasty low-life bastards who delight in nothing more than shutting down or belittling others values and beliefs. That is the way of the world and the evil in the hearts of men.

many people are worse than just unfriendly. You may get to meet 2 or 3 demonised ones daily.

it depends on the person, some can be friedly, others might be mean and not friendly
