ok i have to perscriptions here one is citalopram and the ohter is fluoxetine and i dont remember what they are for? any one know

Citalopram is used to treat depression, and so is fluoxetine. Are you sure these are both your medications, or are you trying to find out what a friend/lover/relative/workmate is taking medication for?
If they are yours then talk to a healthcare professional as you are obviously not taking them if you can't remember what they are. If you are taking two types of anti-depressants does your health-care professional know? Or did you "doctor shop" to get the pills you want?
Either way I think it wouldn't hurt to get a medication review.

Citalopram is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Citalopram affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression.
Citalopram is used to treat depression.
It is sold under the brand-names Celexa (U.S., Forest Laboratories, Inc.), Cipramil, Sipralexa, Seropram (Europe and Australia), Celepram, Ciazil (Australia) and Cipram (Denmark, H. Lundbeck A/S).

Fluoxetine is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Fluoxetine affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression, panic, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive symptoms.
Fluoxetine is used to treat major depressive disorder, bulimia nervosa (an eating disorder) obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
Fluoxetine is also sold under the brand-name Prozac.

Fluoxetine is an anti-depressant (Prozac) I don't know what the other one is for.

Go to Drugs.com and you will find the information on both of these drugs. They are both for depression and/or anxiety.
