like i think sometimes you can look at obit's at libraries but, i need to look one up at home

Hey Beautifully Dramatic,

These are hit or miss. You can call the library near where the death occurred, and talk nicely to the Librarian. They have helped me in the past, I assume they will help you too.

There are a couple out there but they charge. Try going to your local library and using ancestry. Otherwise be prepared to pay for the obit

I always go on the internet to the local newspaper and check the obituaries for the date that my loved one passed.
