Which war?
Does it effect Singapore?

Singapore is a small country in both land mass and population but is very stategically located. Because of this it is important for Singapore to both maintain it's own military strength, and to build strong ties with other countries.

To build these ties the Singaporean military trains / exercises with many other countries - Taiwan, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Malasia

Singapore has also performed peacekeeping duties in Iraq and East Timor. It's also likely that Singapore would contribute to future peacekeeping efforts if some conflict impacted either directly or indirectly on it's interests and if asked by the UN or one of it's military partners
