Go to the Microsoft website mentioned below. It is ok on a very basic level but it lets things through which, having upgraded to a better antispyware system, can be quite dodgy.

If you have a LEGAL version of XP or newer, go to the link below. If not legal, you will get what you deserve.
BTW, it is a very good program, but you still need to use an Anti-virus, other anti-spyware apps, like Spybot, and a good Firewall.
