I'm very attracted to this boy. I am black , he is white. I've NEVER been this attracted to a white boy before! He is so cute and we play the same sport and our personalities are so alike. I love beeing around him, but i don't know if he likes black girls. He is 3 years older, but thats not the problem. My friend asked him if he would date a black girl and he said maybe. I want to know, how should I let him know I like him without creating weird tension. He says he's not looking for a girlfriend, but I'm not looking for a boyfriend. What to do??
Plus its really hard because me being black, I feel like I'm at a disadvantage when all of these pretty white girls like him as well.HELP! ADVICE???

Don't look at it as black and white. You are both human beings and it sounds like you are friends. Why not keep it that way for a while? See if you get along as friends before thinking about dating and when you do date, date in groups so you can find out if it's the real thing and not him just finding out what it's like to date someone of a different skin color. Be careful and don't push it. And don't ever think that being black is a disadvantage. It isn't.

I have liked some black girls in the past but I didn't ask them out because I was shy back then. I worried about whether or not they would date a white guy and all of that too. I wish now that I had.
Flirt with him and see how it works. He probably likes you already. I think a lot of guys are like me and don't worry as much about race. We either think a chick is hot or we don't! If you play sports and take care of yourself then you probably have a hot body and he has taken notice.

love has nothing to do with colour.it comes from the heart.just let him know that you love him somehow.make good friends with him first.then if its true love then I'm sure he'll accept it.go ahead and give it a try.besides lots of blacks are prettier than whites .if he doesn't accept you just because you're a black then forget him.he doesn't deserve you.

What are you talking about. You are probably a beautiful black girl. Just ask him if he would like to go to lunch with you sometime. If he says yes, suggest a date and time. If he says no, say well I just thought that you could give me some pointers on to play the game better.

Why are you so worried about your skin colour? Most people these days are not racist, plus who says the white girls are prettier? It's not true, it depends on the person themselves and not their skin.
I would ask him out, even just as friends.

well if he is as sweet as he seems then it wont hurt you to just ask him:) if he reacts in a very negative way then maybe you just meant to be friends(or not!).
It's really hard to "read" another person especially in the situation that you are in.
or you could just wait and let time and destiny do all the work...if it's meant to be then it's meant to be!
