Jesus said " why do you call me good? only God is good" Jesus did not say " I am not Good."
In Matthew 14:33 it is said:
"And those who were in the boat worshiped Him." He did not object to it.

Jesus never claimed to be God.
In the beginning was the Word. (1 person)
The Word was with God. (2 persons, the Word and God)
The Word was God or the Word was a god? From the above phrase we see that the Word cannot be God himself because it was shown that he was with God, meaning a distinct person apart from God.
John further writes in chapter 1, verse 18: “No man has seen [Almighty] God at any time.” However, humans have seen Jesus, the Son, for John says: “The Word [Jesus] was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory.” (John 1:14, KJ) How, then, could the Son be part of Almighty God? John also states that the Word was “with God.” But how can an individual be with someone and at the same time be that person?
Moreover, as recorded at John 17:3, Jesus makes a clear distinction between himself and his heavenly Father. He calls his Father “the only true God.” And toward the end of his Gospel, John sums up matters by saying: “These have been written down that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God.” (John 20:31) Notice that Jesus is called, not God, but the Son of God. This additional information provided in the Gospel of John shows how John 1:1 should be understood. Jesus, the Word, is “a god” in the sense that he has a high position but is not the same as Almighty God.
---
Many other bible verses point out that Jesus never claimed equality with God. The verses presented here by those who say he is God are twisting it..

Well some Christian teach that Jesus is not God but Son of God
but that where other Christian get upset with them
But I believe Jesus is part of God ,Jesus is God son
Jesus did not have earthly father because he was part of God and will return again standing at the right hand of his father
We are all sons and daughters of God that will never change because we too are part of God and he is our Father just Jesus had a special birth he had more of God spirit in him in a way it like God came down in the form of man to save the world part of him anyway

Jesus ALSO said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." He also said, "The Father and I are One." He also said, "If you have received me, you have received the Father."
Also, Jesus did things by His own authority. How could He have done so, if He was not God? He did not say, "In God's name, let this be done." He just did it. He controlled the weather. He healed the blind, the lame, the ones afflicted with leprosy. He cast out demons. And He did ALL of this by His own authority!
Consider as well, John 1, where it is states that the Word (Jesus) was with God, and actually WAS God:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.
AND as if that wasn't enough, the original Hebrew word used for God in Genesis was ××××× which translates to 'eÌloÌhiÌym, which is a PLURAL.
God said, Let US create man in OUR image. (Genesis 1:26)
So what are we to believe, a writing that came more than four hundred years AFTER Christ (the Koran), or that which was written within sixty-five years after Christ ascended back to His Father (the New Testament, Revelations was the most "recent" of the twenty-seven books), and that which was written far prior to the New Testament (the Old Testament)?

"For He hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, WHO KNEW NO SIN; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6)

It could be argued that Jesus was implying that he was God. But I think more realistically, Jesus was aware of his human nature, and that he meant to imply that all people are nothing in righteousness compared to God.

He was surprised that any man would have the insight to recognize a divine attribute in him. He didn't deny being good - he actually accepted the title, and then called himself God by adding that "there is none good but... God."

its easy , Jesus ( peace be upon him ) is the messenger/slave/prophet of God, like Moses ( peace be upon him ) or Lot ( peace be upon him ) Some people seen Jesus ( peace be upon him ) do some miracles and in great error assumed this was God, or invented lies against God by claiming polytheistic trinities.
