It makes it coarse, not usually after just one dye, but after you have to keep doing it, it becomes stiff, like straw, static and won't stay in good shape. It will thin and become dull.

Yes, color will change the texture of your hair. In order for color to take it goes through a process that opens the cuticle of the hair shaft so the color molecules can penetrate. So it makes the hair a little coarser. But most professional color products have conditioning agents, so the hair is left feeling soft with lots of body.

Yes, color does change the texture of your hair. The ingredients used in any color will cause the hair shaft to swell .It is basically damaging your hair a little so that the color will take. I will depend on your natural hair texture whet her your hair will be softer or coarse, I don't think it will make your hair coarse, unless you leave in to long and it becomes overly damaged.

Dori G is spot on but forgot to mention semi's and quasi's, especially wella colour touch (used in salons) make the hair feel silky and look incredibly shiny.

theres actually a clear semi just to add shine

Also, although most professional permanent colours condition to some extent, bleaching does not, and does cause the hair to swell and feel thicker

lots and lots of bad colouring can cause your hair to become corse but if you go to a good hairdresser it can make your hair perhaps softer.

Dye will make your hair coarse for a few days or weeks, but if you take good care of your hair, it will usually be really soft and smooth. It depends on the type of dye [permanent, semi etc.] and how much ammonia is in it, i believe.
Hope this helped :)

the change of color does change the texture of your hair. Hair coloring contains chemicals and artificial colors that may damage your hair or even cause white hair to appper,so dont use it. Whatever is your hair color it will always look great on you if you just took care of it.
