i recently noticed 4 little round bumps on my shoulder blade the size of a pencil eraser. They started off as an annoying itch but now they are waking me up at night from the pain. They havent spread anywhere and are isolated to my shoulder blade. I havent started anything new like foods or meds and havent been bitten by anything. Does anyone know what may have caused these things?

Before trying anything, see a doctor first. This may be something like hives or just a rash from an allergy. Trying ointments that may or may not work just prolongs the agony and may only further make it more difficult to treat. See your doctor if your worried about it.

They may be what is called as BLIND BOILS these are very pain full and can last up to six weeks, DO NOT SCRATCH them as this will only make them hurt more. Some soothing cream of calamine lotion will help the problem if after six weeks they are still there consult your doctor but do not worry about them, it may be that your blood is just a bit rich that is all. hope that this has helped.

You could be having a reaction to something that touched your skin in that area. Try what the person above said or a anti-histamine gel.
