I like the way I smell, but she's constantly telling me I smell like a "little burrito". It's starting to hurt my feelings. I don't like to shower, I find it very unnatural and prefer not to....What should I do?

I DO shower, just not every day. I don't REEK. I wash the important places. I just prefer not to wear deodorant. It feels gross and I like the natural smell. :]

What should you do? LISTEN TO YOUR MOM!! You might like your smell, but i guarantee you that if you do not bathe, no one else will.

How old are you? If your mom is telling you that you smell, then you probably do. She is telling you this in an effort to prevent you from heartache down the road with your peers. Once you have established a reputation for not showering/ wearing deodorant, it will carry with you and you may not gain friendships as a result of you offensive odor. Remember, mom's always have your best interest at heart. It would not take a lot of effort for you to wear deodorant and shower. As you get older, you need deodorant and you need to shower.

You dont like to shower?? That means u dont shower!! Ur mother is 100% right then. How can u think u wont smell bad if u dont shower?? Even my dog at home (who has a good bath 3 times a week by the way: a concept u should learn) will smell better than u!!

You could try an oil bath or bubble bath. you could relax and pamper yourself. Everyone needs to bath. If you do not like to shower that is OK. I am sure that you have smelled someone that was offensive and moved away from them. Your Mom is just trying to let you know that you need to bath more often and as long as you make it pleasurable to yourself you will probably look forward to bathing. I am not putting you down in any way. You will someday want to be intimate with someone and then realize that it is important to be clean and desirable. Can you imagine becoming intimate with someone that didn't think enough of you to be neat and clean when you are together! Your Mom is letting you know that she loves you and doesn't want you to be hurt more by someone in the future. Give her a hug and tell her you appreciate her. Best to you.

it may be unnatural to shower, so wash in a river or the ocean. that'd help. im not gonna criticize you and say that you smell, but people these days do like hygiene. people never used to wash in the older days, but times have changed, and it's sorta necessary to be accepted.
there are natural ways to wash. natural shampoo and conditioner, natural soaps, hell, there's even natural deodorants. try crystal deodorants. they are 100% mineral and work better than the chemical ones anyway.

You prefer to have month-old sweat still on your skin? Well of course you smell bad. But if you're on a no shower regime, just ask your mom if the smell really bothers her. if it does, start showering again till you move out and it doesn't bother anybody anymore.
You probably do smell funky.

If there's one person in this world you have to believe.. it's your mom. They're honest enough to tell you the truth and
will also be the first to get hurt if they hear it from somebody else.
Take a shower at least twice a day - start and end of your day. Deodorants are also cheap. Buy one.

well if your mom thinks you stink.. imagine what other people must think? if u dont like to shower.. why not take a bath, or go swimming at somewhere like the lake, river and take a bar of soap that way you are doing something fun and washing youself.. or else maybe just sponge yourself down, or you could just use alot of deoderant to mask the smell but seriously person hygiene is not unnatural its part of life and you need to do it!

That's gross, get in the shower, if you dont like them then take a bath.
Stop offending other people's air, if you can't truely bathe then just take a wet-washcloth an go over the IMPORTANT areas...please for the people around you that like fresh air?

You might not think you REEK, but I guarantee you everyone else does. If your mom built up the nerve to tell you, you better bet that everyone else just hasn't done it - yet. You need to either move to a hippie convent where everyone else does "au naturale" like you want to - or start picking out some deodorant. Let me guess, you don't like to shave either? UGH>

Either start showering on a daily basis or get the hell out of the house! No wonder your mother is in your face - you must stink like an Afghans jockstrap! What IS unnatural is your lack of care about your own personal hygeine. Think yourself lucky that you aren't MY kid because I would take you out into the yard and turn the hose on you!
Wake up to yourself and think about what others think of your STINK!
