"The Kansas Board of Education has approved a ban on all Pokémon trading cards, video games, and anything related that has the name Pokémon on it because of the belief that it promotes kids to believing in evolution. Teachers now must search their students daily to make sure they aren't carrying anything with the name on it. Anything found will be permanently confiscated, that means you don't get your game back Jack. On top of all of this, if you dare do something as evil as bring a Pokémon video game to school they have the right to suspend you or even expel you if you repeat this crime."

This is what happens when you allow religion to take over public schools, nothing but stupidity.

I live in Kansas. This isn't true, as far as I know.

I'd fully expect to get my Pokemon cards confiscated if I brought them to school, however, because they are a game, and a huge diversion from class activity. I had lot of little toys and junk taken away by teachers when I was in school. You know, states other than Kansas have passed even stricter anti-evolution guidelines than the ones that were passed, then REPEALED, in Kansas.

That is a stone cold lit teachers are not required to search students daily. You don't need to get into the same game as them. You are just blowing smoke when you do. They teach evolution in Kansas the same as all states. Any ban they may have on Pokemon Paraphernalia has nothing to do with evolution.

If you believe in the Pokemon games and they took your religion away. but to stop the teaching of evolution I don't know about that one. you need to check with our State Government about this one because I believe its maybe again the law in some ways. Anyway I alway tell my sons not to take game of any kind to school because School is there for learning

B. Racial segregation in public schools is illegal. Of note in this landmark case was that the book An American Dilemma, by Swedish economist Gunnar Myrdal was cited in this case and had an influence on the outcome.
