You might have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, have your doctor screen you for the Epstein-Barr virus.. That has been shown to contribute to the Chronic Fatigue. I had this when I was in my 20's and it is so difficult to live with but I got healthy by taking vitamins and staying on top of my symptoms. I would get flu like symptoms about once a month with swollen glands and the fevers etc...I am now in my 40's and sometimes feel more tired than other people my age but I just understand that this is who I am. Don't push your self or stress because this will only make it worse if you do have this problem.

Do meditation for an hour daily under the guidance of an experienced spiritual teacher and you should be able to get the needed concentration in just two to three months. You can see positive results from the first week itself. The more the power of attention you get through meditation, the more will be your concentration and the duration of sleep will become less viz between 7-8 hrs a day.

I used to have headaches and dizziness. Then I read about the book "pH miracle for weight loss". The acid alkaline diet helps me to overcome the dizziness. Once I overcome my dizziness, my concentration and thinking improves by a lot.
For a start, you can buy sodium bicarbonate from your nearby bakery shop. Put a small quantity (2g) into 300ml of water. This will make the water alkaline in nature. Drink about 2 litre of water per day. If you feel better (less headache and less dizzy), you are like me, too much acid inside the body.

You are too young to feel this tired and listless. There could be a physiological condition, which may need attention. Please get a thorough medical checkup and rule out any other problems. No body has a poor memory. Only an untrained one. Fortunately there are many ways of tackling this.
However, first things first: Get that checkup pronto.

You might have an under active thyroid. If your thyroid is out of wack, it can affect you in many ways...tiredness, lack of concentration, depression, irritability, just an all over crappy feeling. I would suggest that you talk to your Dr. and have a blood test done to determine if it might be your thyroid. If it is they will put you on medication that will make you feel your normal self again. If they rule out your thyroid, then you might want to talk to your Dr. about depression itself, and your Dr. should be able to refer you to a good therapist who can get you on the right medication for that problem, along with behavior strategies to help you with your depression, that you can easily learn, to go along with the medication. Don't wait on this...get to a Dr. soon and good luck.

try reading at the time when your mind is most active, refrain from eating pasta and rice coz it makes you sleepy afterwards, eat red meat like ham and beef. Eat carrots and green leafy vegetables and fish is important! Don't over eat, when your stomach's satisfied, stop.
Try chewing gum while reading, it makes it fun. Try to read aloud in different tones of voice to excape boredom if none of the above works. But all of the above are scientifically proven to be accurate... I learned it from the National Geographic channel.
