First I Would Suggest You Get Some Reconditioning, Joico K-Pak Or Nexxus Emergencee Or Any Good PROTIEN Pack Type Conditioner. Then, Go To The Beauty Supply And Get The DEEPEST No-Ammonia / No Peroxide Blonde Toner They Have (Clairol® Born Blonde Or Goldwell Colorance Acid Color Foam) And Leave It Alone For A Couple Of Weeks And Then Try Dying It Wth A Creme Color Like Excellence. Good-Luck

the Ash Medium blonde you put over it, toned it down a bit because the ash, which is a green based tone, cancels orange. The thing is..the blonde was probably lighter than the shade of orange you ended up with after bleaching.
What you can do now, is dye your hair a shade that is the same level or darker than the orange you have now. You cant go lighter without bleaching again. PLEASE DONT. You say some hair was lost, if you bleach again, you'll only lose more.
You will most likely end up covering up the foils you put in, in order to cover the different levels of oranges and yellow in your hair right now. sorry.
...if you do decide to go to a salon..(GOOD IDEA!!) they may be able to isolate the bleached sections and fix those...possibly saving them.

First of all , NEVER use any color with the word "ash" in it . It always is kinda "redd-ish " ( unless that's what your going for ) You should have picked a lighter or brighter blonde, or skipped the dye and just used the bleach everywhere without foil if you wanted it all blonde . Plus ,if you still had some dark spots before you started , you can't just dye a lighter color OVER it , it will NOT cover it ! You have to bleach it FIRST , then dye over the bleached blonde if you didn't want is as white . Since you have already done so much damage , I wouldn't suggest you do all that now , just find your darkest color on your head and try to match that or go one shade darker ( light brown or dark blonde ) . Then wait about a month so you don't fry your scalp ,then do what I said before . Remember , you CAN'T dye light OVER dark , you have to strip first with the hair bleach or frost kit ( but don't use the cap , do your whole head .) Then you may pick a color. And you should ALWAYS start at your roots, not the ends ! Hope I helped , Good luck !

This happened to my sister last month. She likes adding lots of colors to her hair, including extension. She had last dyed her hair black bout 6 months ago & put in blue. Then she wanted to add blonde stripes & stuff like that and she though it would work since it had been a long time but her hair came out orange, orange orange. She tried bleaching first, which turned it orange then she tried using a highlight kit, which made it tiger orange, worse! My mom took her to the salon and they used a stronger formula, she got her blonde streaks, little hair did fall out as well but if she didn't go to the salon she would of had to dye her hair black and keep it like that for atleast a year...Spend some extra on the salon or dye it darker..

If you bleached your hair its gonna always come out yellowey orange. What kind of toner did you use. you need to use a toner that has violet in it. I use towhead violet or something like that. but only apply to orangey yellow hair thats been bleached otherwise it will turn purple or gray. Trust me I've done that before. if all else fails dye it a light brown again, and give your hair a break for a while and then try bleaching it again later after a couple of weeks.

in case you're finding to bleach your dark brown hair and the outcomes is orange, you at the instant are not lifting all the colour. dark hair is going via potential of a few color stages earlier all shade is stripped out - pink, orange, yellow, and then in the top white. you may desire to then upload the blond tones you like for a extra trouble-free seem. warning: this methodology is amazingly harsh on your hair and you may desire to permit a great do it.

Dye it red, or anything darker than the darkest color in your hair right now. Don't try to lighten it more. Or if you MUST be blonde, tough it out and look like bozo the clown for a few months until your hair can handle another bleach job. Believe me, don't try it right now. It's not worth it. Your hair will fall out.

Holy sh*t! Maybe try to dye it a dark color. If that doesn't work, pull a britney spears and wear a wig!
