If that happens to you again and you don't have any gas on hand: Go inside the Firehouse and tell them of your predicament. 99% of the time they will help you move your car, and maybe even give you enough gas to get you on your way.
Those firefighter guys are pretty cool.

You would not get a ticket if you asked for help or made someone aware of the situation as soon as it happened. They would call a tow for you and push the car to a better location.

it is nothing personal-----that firehouse has to be kept open and free-------what if someone you loved needed emergency services FAST?------those guys are real nice and would probably help you move it or get it started if you asked them.
