...what emotion does He feel as he places them in Hell? Sadness? Continued love? Anger? Nothing? If He's mad, fine, but instant anger after death???

Who says He loves the unbeliever? I'm all ears.

God loves those who trust Him. He is against all those who are not accepting His Son. That's basic stuff dude.

Have you ever seen anyone tortured?Hopefully not.Deliberate torture is sickening and abhorrent. What though, of torture inflicted by God? Can you imagine such a thing? Yet, this is exactly what is implied by the teaching of hellfire, an official doctrine in many religions.
Imagine, for a moment the following horrific scene: A person being roasted on a hot iron plate. In his agony he screams for mercy, but nobody listens. The torture goes on and on,hour after hour, day after day, without pause!
Whatever crime the victim may have committed, would not your heart go out to him? What of the one who ordered the torture?Could he be a loving person? In no way! Love is merciful and shows pity. A loving Father may punish his children, but he would never torture them!
Nevertheless, many religions teach that God tortures sinners in eternal hellfire. This, it is claimed, is divine justice. If this is true, who created that terrible place of eternal torment? And who is responsible for the excruciating agonies inflicted there? The answer would seem obvious. If such a place really exists, then God would have to be the creator of it, and would be responsible for what happens there.
Can you accept that? The Bible says:"God is love."(1John4:8)Would a God of love inflict torture that even humans with any measure of decency find revolting? Surely not!
Still many believe that the wicked will go to a fiery hell and be tormented forever. Is this teaching logical? The human lifespan is limited to 70 or 80 years. Even if someone perpretrated extreme wickedness for hios whole lifetime, would everlasting torment be a just punishment? No . It would be greatly unjust to torment a person forever for the limited number of sins that he/she can commit in a lifetime.
Who knows the truth about what happens after we die? Only God can reveal this information, and he has done so in his written Word, the Bible. Here is what the Bible says:"As the beast dies, so the man dies and they all have but one spirit....All are going to one place. They have all come from dust, and they are allurning to the dust."(Ecclesiastes3:19,20) There is no mention here of a fiery hell. Humans return to dust to nonexistence when they die.
In order to be tormented, an individual has to be conscious. Are the dead conscious? No."The living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the rememberance of them has been forgotten."(Ecclesiastes9:5) It is impossible for the dead"conscious of nothing t all," to experience the agonies of of hellfire.
Does that mean that wer are not punished for our sins? No, that is not the case. Our holy God punishes sinners, but he does not torture them. And when sinners repent, he forgives them.

there is rejoicing in heaven every time someone repents and comes to salvation in Jesus. Therefore, there is sadness when someone refuses all their life His sacrificial love through Christ. God has given us a choice - to accept or reject. He wants the whole world to come to know Him and spend eternity with Him. Where have you chosen to live for eternity? Is God going to smile or grieve your choice?

for TUBEROOT- you say that God only loves believers-
do you know this passage of scripture- John 3:16- "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life." The world has unbelievers in it.

It is God's desire that none be lost and be sent to hell but all should come to the saving knowledge of His Son. I believe God deeply regrets the foolishness of those who do not accept the way that He has opened for them to escape hell. God has done all He has to do to give us a way to heaven and all we have to do is just to believe. A fool says in his heart that there is no God and therefore there is no hell. There is a real awakening for him on his death when it is too late.

Hiya buddy...
God still loves an unbeliever. An unbeliever is the one who does not believe in God... can u imagine, he still loves us??
Before the foundations of the earth was laid... he had us in mind...(chapter of genenis in the Bible). In Psalms it tells us that He knew us in His mothers womb. Even our parents are not aware of us here. This Psalm 139 also tells us tht we were fearfully and wonderfully made. This tells us that He took time to create us. Can u imagine He knows even when we loose a hair. This simply tells us that He knows us more than we know ourselves. He loves us so much that He sent His son to pay the price for our sins. It cost God His only son. But but but... we are given a choice to accept tht wht we want. So if we refuse the creator and His love for us, how do we expect Him to keep loving us??? He does not like it when we r heading for hell but he does give us and option everytime. Its our decision to choose Him or no and we pay the price..

God probably is sad that "his people" say he has to place them anywhere, after all, it is the people that make up the rules.

I don't know about you but I'm placing my dead @ss in a coffin 6 feet under, or better yet with no coffin and back into the earth. That's where we all belong. Give back what you take.

There is no heaven and hell.
But if there was, what's wrong with hell? Do you really want to spend eternity with fundies preaching.
If you are religious, then take Milton's Satan (of Paradise Lost) as your role model -- courageous, full of Life, will not be defeated, fighter for justice, the Modern Hero!

The bible says that God feels sadness for his lost children. It also says that they place themselves in hell by choosing to not listen. It's a choice. You are told that if you kill you will be sent to jail or executed. So who's fault is it when you kill someone and have to face the punishment you new would happen?

He is sad, but they have made their choice! Hell is seperation from Christ, which means death. Not a fiery place of torment and brimstone!

There is no god, thus no one feels anything. Regardless of how much you pray, you will still cease to exist when you die, rot and return to the earth.

Don't believe fairy tales.
