I don't really know I hope mines going to be the one I write. I guess what you say though is true depending on where you are at in life the books that you read help you and make it easier to get through the day. i guess when I get around to writing mine it should be I should learn something from it and do it for me. That way it won't matter if other people enjoy it.

The bible is not even on the list. At the top of the list is The Radio Amateur's Handbook, along with Science for the Junior High School, both of which my father gave me when I was six. I have been doing science ever since.

You know Hitler's book 'Mein Kampf'? Don't get me wrong, I'm not pro-Nazi. Sometimes learning isn't what matters most when you read books like these, reading Mien Kampf made me much more stronger in faith and soul and made me more assured in life (that is, I so don't approve of nazism). If you read something that is against what you believe and you still maintain your beliefs... hows that for influence? :P

There is no book that can compare with the Bible no other Book is inspired by God, has his wisdom or has the teachings from God. There is no other book that teaches more crucial knowledge than the Bibl;e does.

the classic masterpiece " Freedom at midnight" by Larry Collins and D Lapierre. A very moving novel which initiated me in to the habit of reading!

Gee, I don't know. There were so many. I suppose that Foxe's Book of Martyrs was pretty informative and it helped me to get a handle on which Roman Catholics were the baddies.

I didn't learn anything from the bible. it would have to be my first grade Phonics book. Taught me how to read so that I can actually learn about the world.
