I'm Christain and I can't answer that without SOMEBODY getting ticked... I'll never believe in God just because someone told me to or just because its a good excuse for stuff, but because I just know that there is someone there to always listen. I'll never lose my faith, and call me a crazy old weirdo, but boohoo for you cuz I believe in God whether you like it or not ^_^

You can not know. You can only believe that God is real. No one can tell you that God is real for it is something that comes from inside you and only you will know. That is what I call faith.
Many people will tell you that God is real and then hand you a book to read. Remember that the book is written by man and altered by man.
The belief that you have is yours. If you believe that God is real, then God is real for you. Bravo and do not be lead away from your belief. The feeling will be inside you and if you allow yourself the time you will feel.
Feel what is right with you.

He created every single thing on this planet. like the computer your reading this on. The materials to build that computer were put on this earth by god. And god gave us the mind to take the materials and build them into these type of things. Nothing is possible if it wasent for our Lord god and Jesus Christ. I pray that you are a born again christian and if your not i hope someday The Lord will send someone your way to witness to you to bring yout o him. ALot of people say ohh the world and everythign was created by the Big Bang. what i ask everyone who says that is WHO CREATED THE BIG BANG? most of them cant answer and sit there dumbfounded. And people all the time Deny god and say there is no god and im like you really think all this happend by accident? Look around the trees us humans the animals the oceans rivers and lakes. Everything is made perfectly. God made it all and anythign is possible with god. And in the bible there are lots of Prophecy's that have actually taken place!! Read Ezekial most prohecy's int hat book took place. most prophecy's concerning israel took place. Just read it you will know. The lord god said thousads of years ago that the jews would lose their land and be scatterd among all the nations and would be persecuted in large numbers (which happen threw hitler) He also said he would return the jews to heir land which happend in 1948. It said many nations would hate them and make war with them. Wow looks like that has happend since 1948. And in Ezekial it also says that God will do this for his name sake So thatall nations will know that he is the Lord God. please have faith in our god and in Jesus Christ God Bless

Doubt....what a game satan plays. That sort of doubt gave Adam and Eve an eviction notice.
Turn the table on satan...if God is not real, why do you place that doubt in my mind satan?
If God were not real, satan would be be out of work!
Anytime you have doubt as we all do at any given time, its satan trying anything to tear you loose from your enteral reward.
Satan loves mind games. Twisting, turning the truth. Remember satan always goes the opposite.
Your on your road to redemption and you have caused satan to stir! He might be losing you, he hates that.
The best thing to remember is God is always with you, satan has to leave you when you call on God to protect you.
How do you know God is real, cause satan is now worried that you even asked that question. Watch for the road blocks, and carrry your amour of God. Shalom

How do you assert your existence? What is the proof you can offer for your existence? It is only inference. Cogito Ergo sum(I think, hence I exist) Like wise God though Omnipresent can not be found of felt by our senses, mind or intellect, for God is beyond the grasp of these. In fact He is formless and He is all pervasive like the sky. In fact God has created the sky, then He should be subtler than the sky. The existence of sky is inferred by the sound we hear. What inference you can make about God? It is impossible. An ant can never measure a Ocean.

Find a way to test for a god. Then let the rest of us know, since no one else has found a way.
You can't be sure. And if there's no way to test for something, then it can't be interacting with us in anyway, so even if there IS a god, what's the point, he's not doing anything. If we can test string theory, we could test for a god. Except we can't test for a god. So string theory is more probable than god.
Mr. Man - we've never found god in energy. And we know a lot about energy. Did you know that helicity is a better-conserved quantity than energy? So is god in helicity instead?
Dre - yes, we CAN see atoms. Ever heard of an electron microscope?

How do you know the wind is real? Can you see it? No, but you can see the EVIDENCE of it.
Look around and try to explain the wonders of nature without seeing the evidence of something/one infinitely intelligent and powerful behind it. Take just one small part of the human body - the eye - and the complexities that go into its working. Then multiply that by a bazillion and you've got all of creation, working together somehow. It baffles the mind.

Christians believe in this thing they call "faith" which is believing in something you have no proof of. That is their basis.
You don't know God is real. You have to depend on the fact that you will never know that God is real and you have to think and make yourself believe that God is real to the point of actually believing that God is real. This is what most people call lying to themselves. If this is true then they are all going to hell because they have been breaking commandment 8 for lying to themselves...that is if they actually believe.
Just live life being a good person and you have nothing to worry about. Christians would condemn you to Hell anyway because you don't believe but screw them. it'll be someone like you who has lived a good life to save their @ss so they can be hypocrites all by themselves.

It's whatever you choose to believe. Faith is a choice. I believe in the existence of a God, therefore i feel that He is real, and thus in my conscience, i know that He is real. If you don't choose to believe, then God is not real to you. So it's not a matter of how, it's rather... do you or do you not.

You are not alone. I think most of us don't know that God is real or fictitious because nobody can prove or disprove God's existence. So don't worry.
