I love Jews even though I am a Christian. I love them because God chose them out of all the peoples in the earth to belong to Him. And, if it weren't for the Jews, salvation would have never come to the Gentiles, so they helped us Christians immensely. And when they come to the knowledge of the truth, when they will recognise the Messiah is Jesus Christ, their salvation will mean even more abundant joy for us Christians. Read Romans chapters 9-11 and you can read about God's plan to save the Jews. God is no covenant breaker. And even though the Jews didn't believe in Jesus (because He came in a way that they did not expect nor understand) God promised that a remnant would be saved. And I will rejoice when it happens. Because God deserves to have what and whom belongs to Him. It will be a great and joyful day when the Jews realise that the crucified Jesus Christ really is/was/shall be their Savior. Peace.

PS: There is a false rumour that the Jews crucified Christ. The Jews at the time did believe He was blaspheming God and believed He deserved to die for it. But it was the Romans who did the crucifying. Even so, no one took Jesus Christ's life from Him. He laid it down for us all. Peace.

I am a Christian and I love Jews. I am commanded to love all people. All means All. Jesus is a Jew, the Apostles are Jews,
the first several hundred Christians are Jews. Why anyone would want to hate a Christian or a Jew is beyond me.

You're just wrong. Christians and Jews do not hate each other. For the few that do, too bad so sad.

I don't hate the Jews & I am a Christian, God tells us to love one another & do to others all that you would want done to you.
I could say that same thing for each differnt denomination for Christianity.
Also unfortunately some denominations do encourage dislike of Jews because of their treatment of Jesus. (& other denominations because they don't believe the way they do)The Jews had thier hearts hardened towards Christ so fulfillment of prophecy occured & the good news pushed through to the ends of the world & when the time is right God will soften the hearts of the Jewish nation to bring them back to Him again. But all this Happens When God says it is time. This is my understanding of the prophecy's of the old & new testament about the Jewish nation, that way we all become the nation of Israel together.
The reality is we need to look at each & every individual as God sees us with unconditional love, and by showing his unconditional love will be the only way of showing Gods & Christs love to them.

"If the Jews are God’s ‘chosen people,’ why have they been so oppressed?"

Israel’s blessings were dependent upon her obedience. If the nation sinned, it would be chastened. This is God’s warning to the Jews, followed by His promised restoration: "The Lord shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known, even wood and stone. And among these nations shall you find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest: but the Lord shall give you there a trembling heart, and failing eyes, and sorrow of mind" (Deuteronomy 28:64,65).

"In the latter years you shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them" (Ezekiel 38:8).

Some Christians hate Jews because they believe that the Jews had Jesus put to death.

I don't know any Jews who hate all Christians. What we hate is the 2,000 years of anti-semitism which has led to persecution and near-genocide because we happen to be Jewish. We also dislike it when Christians try to proselytize to us, or call our scriptures "incomplete," or tell us we don't *really* understand OUR OWN scriptures. That's what we hate... and can you blame us?

In general I don't think this is true. There was a time when antisemitism was a bigger issue, but most of that was probably simple scapegoating. Our society is moving past that now. We still have problems, but at least we recognize them as problems and don't make excuses anymore. Both Christianity and Judaism are based upon the premise of "Love thy neighbor." Maybe we can do a better job of that than has been the case in times past.

I'm a Christian and I don't hate Jews, why should we?
The Jews are God's chosen people, if we serve God, why would we hate the people he favors most?

All the Jews I know personally I get along fine with. In fact, there are two Jewish sisters who come to my church because they feel the presence of God there more than they do at the local synagogues. They, as people, have been a wonderful asset to our community. I would miss then if they do decide to go back to a Jewish community, but I would not begrudge them of their needs.
