I believe Russia speaks with forked tongue ! You can't believe half of what you hear when it comes to Russia. Their words are usually designed to send a message. Either that message is designed to confuse the listener, or warn the party who the message refers to.

In the latest debacle between Russia and Iran, about payment for it's nuclear energy facility and non-payment of such, Russia has hardened it's UN stance regarding sanctions.

Is this really an ally one can trust? look at the problems Belarus and the Ukraine have had with Russia over the cost of energy fuel. The Russians agreed to offer these fuels to these country's all the while it is laying pipe through their lands, to fuel western Europe. Once the pipes were completed, Russia raised the price for fuel to these two country's, to a point that economic concerns are the biggest threat.

Russia has not shown itself to be a reliable and trusted business partner or ally. I'm sure the western European customers they have developed for their products, are a wee bit nervous about Russia as a man supplier of products so vital to their well being.

Russia's comments on US capability, through their own admission, is based on our bombing of Serbia almost ten years ago. Ten year, in terms of US technology is a lifetime, so it seems the Ruskie's are shooting from the hip, in guessing American capabilities, further, it talks about their latest and greatest weaponry which has never been tested under combat conditions. I see little value in their comments, further, the Pentagon is well aware of what they have provided to the Iranians for offensive and defensive capability .

Russia in the past proved to be Friend of half way they never help any body . Go back to history as back as 1968 the war between Arabs and Israel never helped Jamal A. Nasser during the crises. When US and British air fighters hit Labia, Russia never help and / or standby Qaddafi. Also left Saddam Hussein alone when he had a war against Israel in 1990's. Iran also never expect any help from Russia, Iranian look forward for help from God as per Quran's text saying help God. God will help you and be patient and firm.
