The Bible says:
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man…”
Hosea 11:9 “...For I am God, and not man...”
Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible:
John 8:40 “…a man who has told you the truth…”
Acts 2:22 “Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.”
Acts 17:31 “He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed”
1. Tim. 2:5 “…the man Christ Jesus.”
God is not a man, but Jesus, may God praise him, was a man, therefore, Jesus was not God.
2. The Bible Says that God Is Not a Son of Man
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man...nor a son of man…”
The Bible often calls Jesus “a son of man” or “the son of man.”
Matthew 12:40 “…so will the son of man be…”
Matthew 16:27 “For the son of man is going to come…”
Matthew 28 “…until they see the son of man coming in His kingdom.”

Mark 2:10 “But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority…”
John 5:27 “…because He is the son of man.”
In the Hebrew Scriptures, the “son of man” is also used many times speaking of people (Job 25:6; Psalm 80:17; 144:3; Ezekiel 2:1; 2:3; 2:6; 2:8; 3:1; 3:3; 3:4; 3:10; 3:17; 3:25).
Since God would not contradict Himself by first saying He is not the son of a man, then becoming a human being who was called “the son of man”, he would not have done so. Remember God is not the author of confusion. Also, human beings, including Jesus, are called “son of man” specifically to distinguish them from God, who is not a “son of man” according to the Bible.
3. The Bible Says that Jesus Denied He is God

Luke 18:19 Jesus spoke to a man who had called him “good,” asking him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.”
Matthew 19:17 And he said to him, “Why are you asking me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Jesus did not teach people that he was God. If Jesus had been telling people that he was God, he would have complimented the man. Instead, Jesus rebuked him, denying he was good, that is, Jesus denied he was God.
4. The Bible Says that God is Greater than Jesus
John 14:28 “My Father is greater than I.”
John 10:29 “My father is greater than all.”
Jesus can not be God if God is greater than him. The Christian belief that the Father and son are equal is in direct contrast to the clear words from Jesus.

5. Jesus Never Instructed His Disciples to Worship Himself or the Holy Ghost, but God and God Only
Luke 11:2 “When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven.”
John 16:23 “In that day, you shall ask me nothing. Whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name.”
John 4:23 “The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
If Jesus was God, he would have sought worship for himself. Since he didn’t, instead he sought worship for God in the heavens, therefore, he was not God.

6. The Bible Says that Jesus Recognized, Prayed, & Worshipped the Only True God
Jesus prayed to God with the words:
John 17:3 “…that they might know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
Jesus prayed to God all night:
Luke 6:12 “he continued all night in prayer to God.”
…because:
Matthew 20:28: Just as the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve.
How did Jesus pray to God?
Matthew 26:39 ‘…he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father…”

Even Paul said:
Hebrews 5:7 “During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.”
Who was Jesus praying to when he fell on his face with loud cries and petitions? Was it himself? Was Jesus crying in tears to himself pleading to be saved from death? No man, sane or insane, prays to himself! Surely the answer must be a resounding ‘No.’ Jesus was praying to “the only true God.” The God Jesus was the servant of, the One Who sent him. Can there be a clearer proof that Jesus was not God?
The Quran confirms that Jesus called for the worship of the Only True God:
“Truly, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (alone). This is the straight path.” (Quran 3:51)

Jesus Christ is not God Almighty but a man god. God Almighty is the sum total of all purified souls in the Cosmos at a given point of time. On the contrary Jesus Christ is only one purified soul. If god Almighty is one big puzzle, Jesus Christ is one part of the puzzle!
Every human being living on Mother Earth has the potential to become a man god like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed. Jesus Christ was as good as any human being. In his lifetime he decided to go in search of God Almighty. He succeeded and gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in his lifetime. At the time of leaving his mortal frame... Jesus Christ gained salvation (moksha).
Many human beings can gain enlightenment at a time or in an era. But only a few prefer to give back to the community the pearls of wisdom thus gained! Jesus Christ just did that. His following was termed as Christianity. His teachings are contained in the Bible. He was a man god... a human God! Having gained enlightenment and salvation... the soul of Jesus Christ now rests in the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return! When you take these verse alone out of the context of the chapter they are written and apply them this way it can be confusing. The bible tells us that we should follow in Jesus foot steps and be baptized in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit. If you read the entire chapters you will Learn that it was foretold that Jesus would come as man and he would die in the old testament. It also in the new testament says that he was human and lived among the people for he came not to punish or condemn but so that we may have eternal life. He is the son of god and he sits on the right of god the farther. Point is he has many names. The plain facts are he is the truth the light and the way and doubt nad confusion are not of the father so I would check your sources and read more indepth to find the truth.

You have brought out some very good and valid points there about Jesus, Jesus is not God, if he were he would have said so, but he did not say he was God he said he is the son of God(John10:36)Not even God said thast Jesus is God but confirms that Jesus is his son (Matthew3:16,17)The Bible also says that no man has ever seen God at any time(John1:8) Yet thousands of people have seen Jesus. Also the Bible says that God is greater than Jesus , Jesus himself said so in (John14:28) There is no scripture in the Bible that clearly would back up this belief that Jesus is God, that is because he is not he is the son of God.

Is Jesus Lord, Liar, or a Lunatic?
Jesus cannot be just a good man, teacher, or prophet.
If Jesus claimed to be Lord and knew He wasn't, then He was a liar.
If Jesus claimed to be the Lord, and didn't know He wasn't the Lord then He was a lunatic.
If Jesus claimed to be the Lord and is the Lord then He is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. God incarnate from John chapter 1. Jesus also claimed to be the Alpha and the Omega in Revelation 1. If Jesus is not God then the Bible seems to contradict. If Jesus is God then there seems to be a solution to those contradictions.
Therefore Jesus cannot simply be just a good man, teacher, prophet.
Satty
P.S. Jesus never denied Himself as being good to the rich ruler. Remember that God looked upon His Son in whom He was well pleased. It sounds like God thought Jesus was "good".

No, he ain't God (I said "ain't" 4 emphasis).
The Bible never said he was and he never claimed 2 b. Jesus is God's son and Jehovah is God Almighty. What else is there?
Case closed.
*looks @ some of the other comments*
Whaddaya mean the three can't be separated? If that's the case, Jesus must never have really died? Do you Trinitarians listen to the stuff you spew???

Jesus is God's Son. Jesus never once told anyone that he was God. He always said he was the Son of God, and God said he was His Son. The idea of the Trinity came from Pagan belief.
I like all the Scriptures you brought out.

I can sum up everything in one sentence.
God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
This is called the Holy Trinity.....simply put.....3 in 1.
Jesus existed with God, when God created the world, the stars in the sky and everything else...read. John 1:1-3.
In order for God to be reconciled to us, he sent his son to become a man and die for our sins. Jesus was without sin and no "man" on earth could succeed at that, But Jesus did.
That's why he is our example and the bible tells us you are not given anything more than you can bear. Look what Jesus took for us....he took the sin of the world, so that we could be with God. We are pitiful, miserable, stinky to God UNLESS we confess what Jesus did on the cross for us. And ask him to be the Lord of our lives. When we do this and God looks at us he doesn't see us...he sees the blood of his son and we are forgiven by God.
Jesus took the form of a man in order to complete the work God wanted him to do. But Jesus did not sin,,,he was perfect in his mission and our example to follow.
No God is not man....He is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. And Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father.
Keep studying...I would suggest you get a bible conmentary to help you study.

Jesus is both man and God. And no matter how many times you truncate those verses in the Bible, it will remain true.
God is not a man to lie( that is, not lie like a man), neither the son of man to repent ( meaning, like a man to be sorry for evil deeds). That which He has said, will he not make it good, that which He has spoken, will he not do?
It wasn't saying that Jesus couldn't be God.

Jesus is God's son.
John 8:58 says Jesus said: Before Abraham was I am...did Jesus claim to be God byi saying this? Many trinitarians say that "I Am" is God's name which is of course not. ANd they claim when Jesus said it he was telling the listeners of his name.
But the name of God, the tetragrammaton or 4 hebrew letter word is not to be translated as I AM...it is the hebrew verb 'to be.' God's name meaning "He who causes to become."
When Jesus said I am, he meant about his existence long before Abraham was born. Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth...Jesus existed as the very first creation of God.
So where was Jesus before? “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. . . . Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains . . . When he prepared the heavens I was there; . . . then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, . . . and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.” (Proverbs 8)
Jesus was called the only begotten son because he was created by God alone...afterwards Jesus was helping God create the other angels and creation...
----------------
In the beginning was the Word (1 person)
And the Word was with God (2 persons, The Word and God)
?And the Word was God or the Word was a god?
Clearly, the verse speaks of two different identities, the Word and God as seen in the second phrase, the Word cannot be God because the Word was seen separate from God as being with him.
Moreover, as recorded at John 17:3, Jesus makes a clear distinction between himself and his heavenly Father. He calls his Father “the only true God.” And toward the end of his Gospel, John sums up matters by saying: “These have been written down that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God.” (John 20:31) Notice that Jesus is called, not God, but the Son of God. This additional information provided in the Gospel of John shows how John 1:1 should be understood. Jesus, the Word, is “a god” in the sense that he has a high position but is not the same as Almighty God.
----
I and the Father are one...in what sense?
John 8:28 Therefore Jesus said: “When once YOU have lifted up the Son of man, then YOU will know that I am [he], and that I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me; he did not abandon me to myself, because I always do the things pleasing to him.” Jesus and God are united in what they do.
------
“He that has seen me has seen the Father also.” (John 14:9)
Jesus mirrored his Father so perfectly that he could say this. Jesus is the image of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) What Jesus was doing is the same thing God would do, heal the sick, comfort the depressed, feed the hungry, bring to life the dead....
