Looking to purchase std. poodle puppy, are white + black colors the calmer ones?

I meet 2 huge standard poodles on my walks here. Both are 'saints' and doted on by their owners. One is cafe-au-laits (chocolate brown) and one is apricot.
My friend has a silver one that is a confomation champion as well as CDX titled (obedience)

it's not the color of the dog it's how it is breed and trained a well breed and trained brown poodle will be just as calm as a white or black just make shore it's a good breeder and have them trained.(on a side note every poodle i have ever met where worse than any pit I've ever seen)

I'm presently mother of my 4th consecutive white poodle. i don't see how color effects their disposition. All 4 have had different personalities. I have found that all of them were calm when I am calm. If I take a nap the dog does, too. If I'm ready to play the dog is, too. They adore their human mom or dad, and they are so very smart. My present one, John Paw knows the differnce between ball, 'toy', turtle [stuffed toy], and rabbit [toy], and lots of words.

Color has absolutely nothing to do with disposition (which would include calmness). My poodle is absolutely insane (and I love him for it!) and he is white, and I know people who have white standard poodles who are as chill as a stoner listening to phish.

yes black is supposed to be the best and are very intelligent, apricot poodles are known to be more aggresive. White ones get staining under their eyes.
